Australia SEQ meet up??????

Just had a closer look at the km's, that will be 650 kms for me, probably too much for one day, but could meet you at Fernvale for a pie and continue through from there, I'm assuming you all know Fernvale bakery pies.

I know where you're coming from, I only threw that out there, happy for other ideas that might work for all.
 
Heading down gold coast hinterland for a spin this morning if anyone's about, pm mobile if you want to catch up. I'll check forum when I get down there

How was the run Ruley, not too many boys in blue I hope, don't think I'll bother this weekend, police were thick on the Sunny Coast this one gone, will only be worse over Easter I fear, also buggered the back last week, who knew golf was a contact sport?

Run was ok in spots, Dave(crankman) and I met up, no cops that i seen until the way home which i got warning for. Traffic was full on though, and i was paraniod as .... about cops....i really don't like Sundays!!

Nice shot, you're right about Sundays, I'm always paranoid, have been down to 1 point twice, not much fun on the speed limit on one of these things.

A couple of very fine looking steeds there:)

I hate weekend rides these days, so I mostly go through the mid week when it's quiet.
Crappy weather is coming up according to the BOM, so I think I'll be spending some time un-packing this week and through to Easter after moving house late last week:(

Fantastic job that moving house, right up there with having wisdom teeth removed, you certainly work out who your mates are.
 
I ripped the last wisdom tooth out myself one night about 7 months ago, as It was giving me grief to varying degrees for years:eek:
It was the best thing I've done besides getting these DUCATI's:)
The things we have to do to save up enough money for the maintenance on these beautiful/fine pieces of machinery;)

See there you go:)
I'd rather rip my own teeth out, than ride a BMW at any price:eek::eek:

So are we coming to any sort of consensus on this , as to where and when?
 
ok Saturday 25 Apr.

0730 meet at Canungra, expect to do 300kms not including getting to Canungra. Rain rule applies i.e. if it raining i anit riding!!!

Tentatively I'm in...
although that is Anzac day and I think they close main street of Canungra for Anzac day morning??? although I could be wrong about that

I won't be able to make it but I'm sure you guys will have a blast, some very good roads there.

I'd like to go on a ride with you guys, but it's the one day that's devoted to doing the march in the city.

It's an esspeciallly big one this year, and extremely important with the 100 anniversary;)
 
anyone can feel free to chime in on ideas, if you don't set a date nothing will happen.

I work in defence every day, dawn service then the day is mine....getting your arse out of bed for the dawn is respecting the day IMHO
 
So I say again , are we coming to a consensus here ? Is Anzac day the one or would the next day ( Sunday ) be better for more of us ? Two weeks away now so we should firm this up .
