I bought mine from Pro Italia.

I have mixed feelings about the experience. The guys and staff were really nice and the head tech knew a lot about the R.

However, I called three hours before arriving and they were supposed to have all the paperwork ready. (Sign and go). This was not the case a I was there for like 2.5 hours while they kept screwing up the paperwork. Secondly, they wouldn't cut me any real deals on parts or gear. I bought many bikes in the past and it is typical to get 20% off. Next, sent me off.....luckily I came back because they forgot to give me the extra box with the passenger pegs and windscreen. Finally, I get home and realize they did not include the registration in my paperwork and they told me the DDA was already setup. The DDA was still in the box.

All in all, the guys were cool and maybe they were too busy. Plus I ended up with an R.

I have to give credit where it's due. Just left Pro Italia and had an opportunity to explain my experience to the owner in a nice constructive way. He was very appreciative and had concerns that some staff were not well prepared when the owners were out of the shop. Stand up guy and really cares about customer service.

Pro Italia does get overwhelmed a bit when they are busy, but being busy is no excuse for half assed work, especially if you are walking out with a $33k bike. Fortunately, I didn't experience that there, I call ahead of time and ask if they can fit me in first. Even going back months later, guys know my name, gives me plenty of advice and not pushing to sell me something else.

Thumbs up.

I am not sure what is going on there and do really like the employees. However, I am scheduled to have my break in service done there tomorrow. I made the appointment over a week ago and had to schedule to get out of work early to get there by 3pm. Today, I get a message from them at 3pm stating that they need to reschedule my appointment for next Saturday. I did not check the message until I left work so they are expecting me to leave early.

Honestly, my experience with them is Bullsh**. Being nice to people dies not excuse bad service or wasting my time.

This may just be a unique situation but I called Beverly Hills Ducati and they will get me in there at 9am tomorrow.

Any SoCal guys going to Stadium Super Trucks on Sat the 18th at Qualcomm in San Diego? I am heading to it, have a buddy racing in the supermoto portion of the event.

Anyone want to go ride his weekend?

Socal were you in Corona on Sunday? At wood ranch? I was eating there with my GF and Son and as i walked outside I spotted a RED Pani R with the fender eliminator and the signals in the vents by the brake lights.. Was this yours? If not, then there is another R out here in the LA/IE area...

No it wasn't me....I was near the woodranch in Augora hills on Sunday...go figure. We should definitely plan a ducati ride sometime soon. Too Many gixers out there

Yeah it was clean! and yeah definitely! I'm so busy with work i hardly get to ride though.. Only sundays.. Ive had my white 13 for a month already with 45 miles on it lol

Anybody here go to the track?

I plan on doing some track days later this year after I have some more miles on the bike and the first couple services done. A friend of mine owns Airtech Streamlining in Vista, they are going to make some race bodywork for me over the next few months. Hopefully going to hit Streets of Willow in October.

was out at streets of willow late Apr. this bike is too big for that track, you barely touch 3rd gear. Most of the turns will be 1st gear. consider doing the 41t spocket change.

Definitely not a fan of Streets of Willow Spring. I was at Chuckwalla this past weekend and will be at Buttonwillow this weekend. I have a whole new appreciation for the bike after hitting the track. Also, my R has a laptimer which worked perfect.

I loved Streets on my 636 but I can see how this bike would be too big for the track. I love riding tight twisty tracks, a lot more technical in my opinion. I plan on doing the 41T change at the first service once I hit 600 miles also.
