Success at resetting V2 service lights

I can confirm that melcoDiag (from here jpdiag) can clear the service indicator light and resets for 12months from now. Using this (set to HS-CAN) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Forscan-Scanner-ELMconfig-FoCCCus-Diagnostic/dp/B07MQ8GHG3/ and this: OBD2 Diagnostic Code Reader Adapter Scanner Cable for Euro 5 Euro5 Motorcycles | eBay

any idea if any of the other features on melcodiag that can be used on the older panigales are available when used on the new V2?

No idea. All I did was reset the service indicator and do a happy dance.

I'll have to give this a try. My V2 has some annoying lights on the dash and I have not made it to the dealer recently. Thanks for posting.

And if you have a full Akra system on a V2 Panigale with re-map'd ECU, would reset of "service interval" be a bad idea?
Just considering the warning, saying:

If UMAP is loaded, do not lose it, please unload it before doing any resets.

I have the upmap that came with the akra. All was well.

ie Ducati applied the official upmap for the akra once installed and the resetting of the service indicator didn’t affect it.
I was a bit anxious though tbh!

Tbh I was a bit (lot) anxious about the whole thing - from connecting up the odb thing to firing up the s/w …
Someone had to do it though.

I have an SLR flash, so I'll re-flash back to stock before resetting the lights (as instructed by SLR). I'll re-flash to my custom map once the lights are turned off. Parts on order.

I just used this setup on my 2021 V2 and it worked for resetting the oil service light.
