Hey everyone, longtime member of Ducati.org. Spent most of the last 5 years on an 848EVO doing group rides and track days. Couple months ago a lady ran a red light and hit my blindside during a turn. Multiple fractures to my right arm and right foot. Nothing worse than being stuck on a couch thinking about that hole in your garage! At any rate that unfortunate experience has opened up the opportunity for me to acquire the bike that will take me long into my track future. Anyway looking forward to lots of lurking and learning about my new(lightly used) 2014 1199R! Here's a couple pics of me and the old 848!

Nice, the 2014 R is a serious piece of kit.

I used to love my old 848 too. I'm actually looking for another as a track bike

Garrett! Welcome... Did you pick the one up in Hollywood?

My buddy is selling a track ready EVO Corse here in Los Angeles for $6500. Couple lowside's but the bike is mechanically perfect and has all the right go fast goodies, 27mm offset triples, suspension, etc...

Appreciated, but I'm UK........

No doubt when I manage to pick one up that too will be treated to a couple of low sides

Welcome to the party and I don't think your elbow was quite touching in that pic, maybe it will on the R ;)

Garrett; A couple of things....

1.) You have improved tremendously on the track since the early days of ducati.org

2.) I'm assuming 'smarty' hooked you up with the Ricondi?

3.) The 3rd pic of you on the GP15 reminds me of my first night in prison..

4.) WERA is ....
