I already posted on this site about wheel nut torque values, but what about other torque values for things in the bike? Here are three I would like to know:

1. Oil drain plug, 2. oil filter cover bolts, 3. front brake calipers are three I would like to know off the top of my head. I am actually shocked the owners manual states none of these. Please help, or send me in the right direction.

I don't understand, because EVERY other bike I have purchased has these torque values in the owners manual that came with the bike.

It seems a Ducati thing, owner is not supposed to do anything to their bike (ie no chain adjustment tool) When I asked my dealer about a lack of said tool they said there was no need as they provide free adjustment whenever I need it.

Also must be careful with the pinch bolts because if they are done up too tight the bearing can be squeezed and this causes heat (friction) which leads to failure over time

the last duc I had that had torque values and other real maint tips in the owners manual was my 97 748!

Oil Drain Plug with Magnet M14 x 1.5: 14 Nm +/- 1 Nm
Oil Filter Cover Screws M6 x 1: 13 Nm +/- 1 Nm
Front Caliper Screws M10 x 1.25: 45 Nm +/- 2 Nm (grease the threads before tightening...the manual recommends Shell Retinax HDX2)

I'll try to post the entire torque spec sheet on my website for everyone when I can and set a link to it somewhere here.
