Europe also knows how to make track days convenient. You can literally have the organizer transport your bike to and from the track instead of having to figure out logistics on your own. They also have proper paddocks instead of American shacks.
Not all of the tracks are pretty F1 tracks though. Some are ratty little ones as well.
But, ya, Italy and Spain are stinky with racetracks. This image is JUST THE FAMOUS tracks in the north and Tuscany.
There are more near Rome and a bunch of little ones. Scale - From Monza to Misano is a 3.5 hour drive.
I hope the US with all of it's business prowess can figure out how to catch up in racing. I have ideas...

It depends on the construction of the carcass. I think you're OK reversing most rear tyres, but some you can't.

If my budget only allowed me a £3k trackbike, I'd probably reverse my rears. If my bike was $125k+, I'd probably stump up for new rubber :D

If tyre wear is a concern, and not wishing to open a can of worms, do not use Pirelli rear tyres! Bridgestone/Dunlop/Metzeler rears all last AT LEAST twice as long as a Pirelli. Same, or lower, price too.

It’s more about availability than cost, the tires I run are constantly on back order for months at a time

I’ll be at Streets of Willow next Friday the 8th and then Autoclub Speedway on Friday August 26

Looking for more dates…. This .... is addictive, the idea of only being able to go once per month sucks lol

That just won’t do

Cant say enough good things about Powercup 2's

There's a lot of club/track groups who seem to do group tire buys. TrackAddix (Ducati Omaha) being one of them.

Man one of these days I’m going to buy a decent chunk of land in Ohio where I’m from, and build a house and private motorcycle track on it.

Or maybe up in Oregon

Oregon, south and east I would hope unless you only like rain tires ;P
There are some very decent hills in So Oregon. Dreamy place. I used to have a ranch there.
