We have until tomorrow for the group buy, correct?

yes, end of may. but remember, australia is quite ahead of us here... i don't know if a opurchase counts in MO 11.59 pm, when it's already past lunchtime down under ;);):p

For the record, I am buying it, just waiting on my weekly trust fund payment :D

okay, i'm buying it ;)

Trauma, reading the last page retrospectively, i think we have a communication problem. we both say the same, but we don't understand each other. i think we need counseling

Quick question before I pull the trigger on the GB; will the new QS algos/hardware work with GP shift, or Push pattern? Also, will we still be able to enable/disable DQS via the normal settings with the new strain gauge switch? Not that I would ever do that...

Thanks,
mike

Hi

I can add launch control.
Currently the software has live mapping of the fuel and ignition (This means changing the values while the motor is running).
The cruise control option allows the ECU to hold a set speed for those boring bits between the twisties. Throttle is increased or decreased to hold the speed, brake or clutch will disengage the cruise just like a car.
Currently working on the down shift blipper code for the ECU, this will allow clutchless down shifting.
Final work is being done on the iPhone app, this will have logging and data display, also does power graphs so you can test modifications to the bike.

At any time you can return the bike to the standard mapping.
What sort of time frame you lookin at for completion? And can you return to the stock "upmap" that is currently loaded?

I jumped in on the group buy, however I want to be able to change the "hp" rating of the rain mode engine setting(which I am guessing is the percentage of avail throttle opening). I would like to have it set at "140ish hp" instead of the 120. Is this something that can be accomplished with the TB software?

With TB system you can return you bike to stock firmware/maps whenever you wish.

A 140 wet mode requires access to the throttle maps. While Wayne has access, currently it is not offered in the tuneboy software due safety concerns. (Imagine what would happen if you created a map that went from 5% to 100% butterfly in 1/8 turn of the grip !)
I think it part of the bigger plan to offer sanitised access in the future. (maybe limited absolute values in each cell or limited delta from adjacent cells)

P

Or maybe preprogrammed throttle maps/rain mode power options. That would be sick and I have been wanting to find someone who could accomplish this.

Why 140 hp and not 120 hp?

Wouldn't 145 hp be better?

I gave it a spin a while back in pouring rain, really enjoyed it! It took the nerves out of riding enthusiastically in the wet.

For the Panigale I will make the DQS dash setting control the on/off of the new quick shift code.
GP shift pattern will not be a problem.

I think it is a good idea to have some different power options, I will see what I can do.

Hang on let's get the blip downshift sorted first! When can I get ProTwin to fit that?

A couple of questions:-

Do you now have the map for the Termi slip ons?
Do you have a graph you can post up?
Is the iphone app complete?
How much is the hardware for the downshift blipper likely to cost?

If anyone else in the UK is interested in looking at a group buy with combined shipping then pm me.

Maybe he'll let youi sneek in, the link is down now - I bought in last minute :)

so lemme know what time exactly. did you send your email with or against the earths rotation, to arrive on time in australia?

i am so pumped on getting it, espeshuly with the modified cans at the welder right now
