where’s the “start” button with that switchgear?
The big red button (slider) on top is used for start, run, and stop. All the way up is stop. Down one click is run, and from run you slide it down further to start. Once it's running, release it and the slider returns to run.

I had the same question when I bought the bike. "So... how do I start this thing?" lol

ok that’s cool, older bikes have the slider switch, life it down over the start button for off, slide up for run and it exposes the start button.

thanks for the tutorial!

Yep, and that old style is what I've been used to. Seeing no actual starter button on the V2 made no sense at first. It's a pretty slick system though.

it’ll be a good time to fix the throttle slop too. I like that piece
I did the Ducati Spacers right after I got the bike. Jet prime claims the switchgear fixes the slop...we...shall...see! This one, however, has no hazard button. Then again, I didnt get a Panigale for hazards.

Haha what if u hold the left turn signal button for 3.5 seconds? It fires the hazards

to me the spacers solved the physical slop but the throttle was still choppy if you want to call it that (1299) how’s the V2 throttle control? Does it knock and buck / surge when ur trying to keep throttle constant or is it much more refined from the factory now?

Seems like before the UpMap throttle was like an On/Off switch for the throttle bodies. After UpMap and with the spacers it's like a micro controller. Buttery.

It's a bucking bronco below 4k. Going slow and steady in a low gear is a chore. Above 4k I've had no issues at all and it rolls on nice and smooth. It's just that low speed, off throttle response that tries to spit me off.

The easiest solution is to just not go slow and keep the revs up lol. Feathering the clutch works too if there's no other choice. A remap would be ideal.

yeah same on the 1299, the ECU flash took care of that but obviously my bike is out of warranty so no biggie, I probably wouldn’t do it on a brand new bike, just UpMap and be done.
R u running stock exhaust, @MrBungle ?

r u good with it stock or do u want it louder?
I'm fine with it stock with regard to the sound. Weight savings and performance gains are far more interesting to me. With akra being the only choice currently ($$$$$$), I'm happy as a clam with the stock exhaust lol.

I can't help but wonder if the stock 959 exhaust fits. That with a custom tune could be just the ticket if it's possible. At least it would get rid of the massive euro 5 cat that came from the factory without costing an arm and a leg.
