your right wrist is in control but practicing evasive maneuvers is wise. someone dumped their french fries in a corner on foothills which let my front tire push a bit. (they put silicone in frying oil these days so don't eat that crap or drive over it))

I went out for a ride yesterday to put some break-in miles on the bike and my gas warning light turned on/off several times even though I had a 1/2 tank of gas. anybody else having this happen ?

The manual says 4.49 gallons is the tank’s capacity, and the reserve comes on with 1.32 gallons left. Maybe it was sloshing around.

that's what I'm hoping. It was after some harder acceleration but the light stayed on for almost a minute each time. I got worried about running out of fuel and filled up, but it only needed two gallons. My tank had been full and the trip meter was at 68 miles.

ignore the low fuel light until it is steady.

obviously, you don't want to over fill the bike and get fuel into the charcoal canister. i fill it up on the rear stand to the recess in the throat and get 120 miles, give or take, to a solid low fuel light.

do plan ahead for your route.

Suppose I should say something here. I’m a V2 owner in sunny and dry Los Angeles. Been riding for the better part of 20yrs. I’ve had every type of bike, but always gravitate back to super sport bikes.

Arlington, VA. Got it yesterday. Wondering if my old 899 parts will fit. (Fluid tanks/levers/fender kit). It’s amazing!

Saw you are from NOVA. Where did you buy your Panigale V2? It seems Colemon is the only place that sells Ducatis around here.

Great shot. Have you passed the 621 mark?

It makes me miss water skiing. I always liked the butter texture over glass.

About 425 so far. Doing a track day Sept. 6th at Thunderhill so need to hurry up and get my miles in then put some sticky rubber on!

I've just joined the V2 family - just at the wrong time!

New imposed 5km Covid travel restrictions in Sydney are not at all ideal when you've got a brand new shiny Panigale sat in your garage. Can I get some recommendations on cleaning products? (Specifically for the exhaust). Looks likely to be the only thing I'll be able to do for a while! 20210814_115949 (1).jpg
