I've just joined the V2 family - just at the wrong time!

New imposed 5km Covid travel restrictions in Sydney are not at all ideal when you've got a brand new shiny Panigale sat in your garage. Can I get some recommendations on cleaning products? (Specifically for the exhaust). Looks likely to be the only thing I'll be able to do for a while!

Welcome. Sorry about your restrictions. I clean my exhausts (Arrow, Termignoni, Yosh) with WD40. WD40 takes off any oil, tar, grease, and dirt without harming the exhaust. I clean the headers and mid-pipes with WD40 too. Sometimes I use CARPRO Eraser, but that is mostly to strip off excess WD40 or other products. WD40 will also clean off your rims and any grease/wax on your tail section. If I use WD40 on the tail then I follow up with Eraser, although it is not necessary.

Congrats! PSA: be sure to periodically check your exhaust mounts that are located on the engine cases. Discovered that two of mine were completely broken w/less than 1400 miles ridden and understand this has happened to others as well.

Congrats and enjoy ! I've had mine since February and have 2500 miles so far and I love it more now than the day I got it.

What's up folks, just added a 2021 White V2 2 days ago with full Akra titanium exhaust and all carbon fiber mods, ducabike, rizoma and evotech parts. Bought it w 900 miles on it, so far only put 20 miles due to terrible weather. Waiting for clear clutch cover and new ducabike levers to come.
My other bike is a 2015 Monster 821 fully modded.

the temperature on the ride to work today was 49, but the excessive heat from the V2 kept me nice and warm ... I'm not sure if it makes up for the heat rashes from the summer but it will make fall rides a little nicer.

You should try the heat shield kit. Noticeable difference.

I actually have it but only installed the seat pieces so far. It helped a little but not as much as I thought it would. the side pieces are a bit of a pain to get to and I don't feel comfortable taking these fairings off. I'll probably have the dealer do it when I get the clear clutch cover installed at the end of the season.

My clear clutch kit was delivered today. Can't wait to get home and install it. Where can I get the heat shield kit from?
