My clear clutch kit was delivered today. Can't wait to get home and install it. Where can I get the heat shield kit from?
Hey , is the clear clutch cover just an aesthetic mod ? Or does the reduction in weight of parts make a difference to the bikes performance as well?
some say a light clutch means less torque . Is this true. I’m assuming torque is lost for responsiveness .

like can u feel a difference to actual bike performance just by riding?

What's up folks, just added a 2021 White V2 2 days ago with full Akra titanium exhaust and all carbon fiber mods, ducabike, rizoma and evotech parts. Bought it w 900 miles on it, so far only put 20 miles due to terrible weather. Waiting for clear clutch cover and new ducabike levers to come.
My other bike is a 2015 Monster 821 fully modded.

Hey, have you installed the Ducabike levers on yet? If so how has your experience been with them? Thinking about getting them due to the adjustability and how easy it is to change out the tips.

I did install them. They feel much better than stock, that is due mostly to the fact that they are adjustable since I don't have huge hands. Definitely improved the look though.

A lot of these posts are from 2020. I just bought a 2020 coming from a 2014 899 and it was very low mileages in my opinion however, I’m looking to retain some oem mirrors as I don’t get into the no mirror look. Yeah I know I’m a odd breed however with me it’s all about stock mainly and being seen. I have handlebar mirrors and turn signals integrated where the originals were. Any ideas or trades plus cash or anything someone’s wanting to do? I’ve looked quite a few places and figured the V2 forum would be the way to go. Illinois here by the way so it’s riding season for now.

Welcome all the new peoples. Please post pix in the photo thread.

OE mirrors come up on ebay but usually junk if you look close. 250 per is a little silly.

I am getting ready to purchase a set of mirrors from Conquest Racing, a little pricey, but definitely much nicer looking than the stock mirrors.

Stamford, CT here, with my 300 miles V2 Bayliss.
Looking forward to a short plate holder (rear end) and possibly a tune.
Cheers
LCL

Hey y'all!
I'm new to the forum and recently became the proud owner of a brand new 2022 V2 (coming from a 2006 SV650S that I had since new, it's quite the upgrade). Here she is at about 10 weeks ownership and after some mods.
Mods done so far:
  • see through clutch by Ducabike (it’s a bit foggy in this picture due to it being so cold out)
  • shortened license plate holder (tail tidy) by Evotech
  • adjustable billet brake and clutch levers by Evotech
  • aftermarket (foldable) mirrors (don't know the brand, just a ton better than stock)
  • dark windscreen by Puig (taller than stock also for a little more wind protection)
  • battery tender SAE connection (keeps the battery healthy over winter) by Ducati
I'm waiting for a phone mount from Evotech along with some new bar end protectors. That will be the next mod :)
Greetings from Northern Germany!

Edit: forgot to mention - she needs a wash :p. Soon as it stops freezing I will do that and take some more pics.

it's only been a few weeks since I put the V2 away until spring and I'm already having withdrawal symptoms. I hate winter in New England...:(

That is why I own Groms with heated seats and grips. Yep, winter sucks.
