Help Support Ducati Forum:

soon to be a new V2 owner. I'm going this Saturday to buy a 2021- red. My first Ducati ! I've already got a shopping cart full of parts to install before the weather breaks here in MA. fluid reservoirs, rear cowl, tail tidy ( nrc ), radiator guards, heat shield, throttle spacers, fuel cap, TRO oil filter cover, and some bar end mirrors which I actually need some recommendations if anyone cares to offer.

Smoked wind screen, grips (ducatis fade quickly less grip), exhaust is a must (rather quiet), mirrors (mine broke off twice), tank grips if u ride hard.

Those were all my upgrades minus exhaust before I got rid of it.

Early grats on bike as well.

Throttle spacer and pro grips are a must before you take it home.

My mods:
Techspec Tank grips
throttle spacer bought from forum
Evo tech front fork and rear axle sliders,
RG no cut frame sliders
pro grip 717
SBK slip on, commander V and dyno tune
Duka bike clear clutch cover
evotech lever guards,
NRC tail tidy,
duka bike fuel cap.
Dukabike radiator guard
Carbon heel guards
Pitbull stand

In process
Just purchased quick change sprocket conversion kit with upgraded chain

Remaining
Ducati comfort seat
New wind screen
Ducati passenger seat cover
New exhaust when more options are available
Maybe more carbon bits
Other .... I can’t think of

Hope this helps

thanks for the parts list, now there is even more future upgrades to consider that I didn't already stumble across. I was actually hoping for mirror suggestions.
thanks again.

I just tried to install a Rizoma rear brake reservoir but discovered the stock brake line is 10 mm too short. Now I’m having trouble locating replacement brake tubing. Any suggestions?

Motomillion might sell a brake line kit. Might be steel braided too

I’m not going to rant about how the V2 IS NOT a beginners bike.

Take it slow and know your limits.

I will take it slow for sure. Ive been practicing on my friends R1 a few times a month since i got my endorsement. Weather is starting to get nice. Im so damn excited to ride it and put a new exhaust on it. I cant stomach spending 5+ grand on the full akra though. I wonder if SC project is coming out with anything?

First bike is a V2? Holy F*%K! Please goto several riding schools, have the bike delivered to your home, and don’t leave the neighborhood for a month!
Lol, here in Vancouver I see Lamborghini's with learner's plates on them..
The concept of earning and working up to a vehicle of advanced capability is lost on some people

Bike is being delivered to my home from haul bikes. Ive been practicing riding on a buddys R1 a few times month. I know its insane but im not gonna go crazy on this thing.
