the quickshift is friggin' awesome but the road was moist so I found myself using the clutch dropping into 2nd.

just 200 miles on the ticker.

200 miles, were neck and neck.
mate u any good at rev matching on the downshift yet? after years and years of practice on the triumph I am quite good but the Ducati computer/ DQS is still consistently better

@thomasmryan
Also, hard break-ins vs soft there's really no difference on the engine. So I'm sure your good.
First night I had mine out I had it at top speed real quick. I’d even be 100% confident taking delivery of a brand new Ducati at the track and pushing it hard... these things are ready to go.

However I’m at 250 miles and I’m ready for an oil change now. I’ll show u guys all the metal in the oil at this point.

also make sure u get the spiffy super magnetic Titanium Oil drain plug bolt from @Phl

Twin Cities, MN. checking in about 180 miles on it so far. Had a 2009 Ducati 1198s up until last June and sold that shortly before we started a new home build, and had a 2002 Ducati 998 prior to that. Really liking the V2, can't wait to dump that fugly stubby exhaust and get and Akra put on at first service.

Current Mods -
Ducati throttle spacers - Throttle Spacer Kits
New Rage Cycles Tail Tidy - Ducati Panigale V2 Tail Tidy Fender Eliminator Kit

The Tail Tidy and throttle spacers I installed were great additions and make a world of difference! Just waiting to get my 600 miles in to get my first service and then have the Ducati accessories put on -

Carbon front mud guard
Carbon clutch case guard
Smoke tinted windscreen
Akrapovic racing silencers
Front caliper spacers

Cheers!

Get some throttle spacers to eliminate the play in the throttle tube for smoother control
One of the best mods ever, that is the first thing I noticed was the lag and vagueness in the throttle when I was pulling out of the dealership parking lot the day I picked her up.

I ended up ordering these, because I cannot stand reaching down either to swing it down, guess we will see how they work -

my kickstand is controlled by a button on my handlebar. Flips it up or down without having to find it with my foot

I personally just extend my toe down pushing the peg up and then down directly on the stand. Took a few attempts but now I don't hit the bodywork

How did you do that? Did you design that?
No I’m just being a jerk. It would be cool if the switch just above the start button could flip the stand up and down. But before messing with all that, I’d just get wheel chock for the garage
