The dealership can tell if your ECU has been flashed even if you flash it back. It keeps count. It also tracks how many miles you ride on a check engine light too.
I've never had an issue with my vin being flagged and neither has my father. Heck he had the huge brake caliper recall that BMW had for those bikes done after it had been flashed for a while. All he had to do was flash it back to stock before taking it in. Maybe our dealership is just really good with working around those things. The dealership can tell if your ECU has been flashed even if you flash it back. It keeps count. I gotcha I wasn’t trying to say I disagree I appreciate the helpful info. Just speaking from experience with my bike.I’ve never owned a BMW and I don’t know what ECU they use. I was writing about the Ducati. If you have a good relationship with your dealer I’m sure they’ll take care of you.
So dropped the bike off at MSS today for them to read the eco and then a map be created and then dyno'd!
2022 V4 base with ti full Termignoni D200 and sprint filter...I wait with baited breath!

If you can get the dealer to flash the map, then go for that. I doubt the more expensive air filter is really needed.
I suggest riding it and seeing how it behaves. If you think you need more, Woolich is probably the best, but there are some added costs for dyno tuning sessions. If you don't want to deal with that, I'd go SLR. Right now, SLR/Bren is the same price as the Woolich, which isn't good for SLR/Bren. Woolich gives you more. You can do a dyno run with SLR or Bren after installing their map and email the map to them for edits, but that whole process takes time. While were in this space, if you are tuning to that degree you need block off plates or to disable the air injection system, which is maybe another topic.
A part of the emission control system is the Secondary Air Injection System (SAI). It injects fresh air into the exhaust after combustion to get rid of unburnt fuel. On bikes which have catalytic converters its not really an issue since the cats have a ton of heat. When you remove the cats, it leads to a lot of pops and flames from the exhaust which isn't good for the packing material in the mufflers (cans). Since the system is injecting fresh air into the exhaust it will lead to misleading air/fuel exhaust readings and lead to inaccurate tunes. Block off plates cover the portion of the valve cover where the SAI system injects the air.
I would not get the Sprint F1 filter unless I was racing and very competitive at a high level. The regular Sprint filter which comes with the Akra system is already much less restrictive than stock.
EVAP (charcoal) delete is almost a mandatory mod, for track use only of course.
I was and have been waiting for that exhaust and map since before Christmas, kept getting fobbed off which is how I ended up with the termi.. which I think looks better. Still there is no termi map for the 22 bikes which is how I ended up with this decision. Having looked into the various options for AFR its clear to me the best option was with the Woolich!Hey I just got a 22 base V4.
I am looking at the undertail akraprovic full system + the official upmap, and the sprint air filter. Not sure if i'll get the sprint f1 which lets in alot of air, or the regular road version. I want the sprint f1 which lets in alot of air for better performance but im not sure if it would play nicely with the official upmap.
Which leads me to my next question. Would it be worth getting an SLR/Woolich/ aftermarket ecu tune and dyno the bike? After having the official up map?
Finally, please post dyno charts when you have them and your general thoughts! I won't get my exhaust until May.
Honestly, what's your budget and what level are you riding at? Would a track day or a tune get you more performance? Ducati's test rider could probably dust everyone here on a stock bike. So there's a software vs hardware argument.

I also don't know about removing all of the throttle limits and torque mapping Ducati baked in the newer bikes. They put it there for a reason. I mean, if you're just doing highway pulls it will keep you back, but for that nonsense you're on the wrong bike.
