and.........the day didn't go as planned. Upon my arrival there they were still working on a ....... of a Zx something or other.......so didn't start on mine til 1500... as a base line it was near 190...d200 termi and air filter, although the AFR was overly weak and then too rich as it got to the top of the rev range. He then seemed to struggle to get it to change as he took more and more fuel off the bottom injectors with not a lot of change to the AFR ..So it needed a rethink...5 per ent off the top injectors and it had an immediate effect. So something was wrong.

I left it there as he needed to consult the Woolich people. Im hoping its something simple like he copied and loaded Ricks fuel map in to the wrong chart or something.

It sounded pretty cool and ran well regardless of being out on the AFR plus As soon as he altered the top injector the exhaust note really crisped to a rasp...sounding really right.. so we shall see tomorrow.

Looking forward to results!

Hi no problem no auto tune dyno at mss using the woolich software to alter and update change

Cool. Would be interesting to compare the results of manual dyno tuning and auto tuning, and also auto tuning with either 1, 2, or 4 widebands.

So update...

The bike pulls like a train without hiccup ... but as reported the engine light kept coming on... I discovered it was to do with the disconnected lambdas..and could eventually read the error codes ..

I spoke with Mss who relayed to Woolich the pictures of the error messages.

It would appear that the 22 model has even more routes to error codes than the 21... this is something Woolwich has now identified and worked on to eliminate.

whist waiting I removed and added the AIS delete connector, removed the Evaporator and added the connector, and am waiting on Akrapovic for the O2 delete connectors as a belt and braces.

I now have the Woolwich gizmo box and lead, and my bin file that has been modded/updated by Woolwich to the new spec. I will be loading this in to the bike.

I also spoke with rick Hackett JHP ducati. They also use Woolich software on their dyno tuning. This was a big plus for me as they have endorsed it and also understand it with a ducati. It was interesting to find that when they have uploaded it to a bike they put a sticker on warning to not update the ducati software without recognising the Woolwich stuff. Any ducati updates they save the Woolwich stuff update the ducati stuff then reload the Woolwich.

Happy days...

480 quid... you can add the auto tune and Wideband lambdas for another couple hundred...

I think the stumbling block was that the 22 bike has changed again and we are playing catch up… nearly there
A bespoke dyno tune is miles better than a guesstimate …..

From the sounds of it, your woes with the Woolich tunes seems a bit of a bodge. You got warning lights flashing all over the place and service resets seem like a bear
