Ducati entered MotoGP in 2003. So yeah, they didn't win from 1949 to 2007...
LOL ok fan boy, doesn’t matter, they were a mfg, participating in motorcycle racing. You dismiss the solidified accomplishment of one brand and bolster the potential of another, interesting.

I tell you why it’ll be more!
They last homologated the bike in 2020. Homologation is to update the next bike for the racing rules, not to titillate a few Ducati monkeys …

I guess Ducati could theoretically produce a slightly modified version in 2023 (with the 2022 winglets and 2023 software updates) and a 2024 model with the rumored seamless transmission and DSSA (as a response to updates from the other manufacturers who didn't do much for 2023). The 2023 bike would obviously be easy to produce, though it wouldn't seem like it would be necessary at all from a homologation standpoint (I can't imagine the revised winglets make that much of a difference).

For all we know, maybe the event was pulled because they are pushing out the big upgrades to 2024 now. A DWP event to just showcase new winglets and a software update doesn't seem to make sense either.
