I predict there wont be huge changes after listening to Bautista's comments. He wants the bike to turn better and have more stability under acceleration so they will probably deliver that, maybe a few styling and ergo tweaks? In the end the idea is win on Sunday sell on Monday so why redesign the platform now when the Pani is top dog?

Maybe Rinaldi might have more input :) Seems as though Alvaro and the current model are in perfect harmony.

I suspect updates could include:
Euro 5 - a given - maintaining power at the same level
Chassis tweaks with the SA pivot baseline being closer to the 22 model (with adjustability)
More electronic wizardry (hope they don't call it EVO2 and EVO 2 again ffs!)
More aero (to keep Gigi happy)
Cassette gearbox, but can't see it being seamless yet (would be nice)
Probably some matt paintwork / orange bits for aesthetics

Agree with most of this. It's really a tick box for homologation, I think.

I doubt there will be a cassette gearbox, no need for it in WSBK, as gearing is decided before the season starts. Although, it might help in testing?

One thought - Ducati’s life cycle for models since the 916 has averaged 4 or 5 years (the 999 was 3 years). I think the 996/998 ran from 99-04 and the 1199/1299 from 12-17. If they stay on the same schedule, the pv4 would be due for a significant update in 23 or 24. Maybe the pv4.2. ;)
