Agreed. But I’m not sure they’d want to spend the engineering capital to do that this further decreasing margins. Also that new exhaust would have to go through Euro 5 certification. All this effort for it to just go into the dumpster. Basically, it doesn’t make sense from an engineering and accounting standpoint

Yeah, idk. I heard from someone who has contacts in Ducati Corse that the dssa was confirmed, but i don’t have any first hand knowledge.

Could be a red herring. I could also have egg on my face. (Where’s @fire when you need an idiom haha?)

I’d also note that no other WSBK manufacturers has made ground breaking changes to their bikes so far. It’s more iterative improvements.

The new bike will have to pass Euro 5 regardless of exhaust configuration.

Yeah looking at the pictures i think it is almost identical, the wings look different but hard to tell as the picture is low quality definitely single sided swingarm
