Is that based on any info you got from someone at Ducati or just a thought?

@KarlKani from your posts earlier in this thread you seem to have been right on everything so far. Are you still confident on DSSA and seamless gearbox?

We will see next Friday
+I know that DSSA is a possibility and has been the internal conversation - but it boils down to the age old Ducati ethos if it is worth doing over historic design aesthetic synonymous withe brand
+Seamless gearbox is something that is also in the mix but the definition is murky amongst media // forum posts. Either they have made some sort of breakthrough that could somehow provide a GP take down of a seamless gearbox, chances are slim OR they have a sequential wsbk gearbox option available to the public which would be more likely IMO.

Either one of the above would not be standard on V4R but would be ADDITIONAL money in order to keep bike under 40K cap. Also would have no effect on WSBK in terms that they already have a sequential gearbox and seamless wouldn't be allowed short of a rule change

I agree; sequential gearbox or just a modified N position is more likely than seamless gearbox. Always found this one hard to believe...

So you think the stock bike would come with the usual SSSA and an optional DSSA could be available for purchase? Seems complicated. 🤔

Fitting it stock with a DSSA would not change the production cost of the bike much if thats the way they want to go for racing.

We'll have the answer in a week I guess...

You’re right. Must’ve accidentally moved my transform. Here’s the rear tire matched to the V4’s. Still looks weird. Threw the Akra belly pan exhaust off the V2 to see what that would look like. Not sure that’d be feasible with race regs.

Used your idea and did my own twist, it's actually growing on me I think

I just looked after logging into My Ducati and do not see the postponed message. On another note, the new BMW S1KRR looks pretty good as a second bike to my 2018 Speciale.
