Now that's what I'm talking about.. Stunning!
I’m not so sure either… Grafted the V21L DSSA onto the 22 V4 and it gives me the heebie-jeebies. The exhaust would need to be re-engineered to clear the swingarm. I don’t think the new dual-shotgun type exhaust would fit and the current underslung one would be tight.
I don’t know about all these rumors of DSSA and seamless gearbox bc from a cost perspective putting both of these components on the new V4R would be prohibitive to hit any semblance of margins. But I’m usually wrong on these things…

If you look at the swingarms of the world superbikes, they are not stock at all. The Honda CBR1000RR-R bike is using an underbraced swingarm vs. the stock one which is braced above; BMW is using a super fancy Suter swingarm which bears no resemblance to the stock part. So Ducati wouldn't need to throw on an expensive DSSA (like the one used on the MotoE bike) onto a stock V4R, as I would agree that would likely be too costly considering that have to remain at $40,000.I don’t know about all these rumors of DSSA and seamless gearbox bc from a cost perspective putting both of these components on the new V4R would be prohibitive to hit any semblance of margins.

The BMW WSBK uses a Kalex SA.
The MotoE SA won't be too expensive to build as it'll be produced for a whole paddock plus spares and it looks like a cast piece as far as I can tell.
Clearly the SSSA has been good enough and will remain a very practical option for every application except top race level despite the shortcomings of weight and geometry issues but perhaps more importantly there's a huge body of knowledge on how DSSA's perform in competition. Owners have wanted to swap to a SSSA from DSSA on 899/959's, its quite ironic that us lot drool over DSSA's so if they do put it into production the new must have will be the R swinger and Akra combo!
The Kramer will be an awesome track bike, definitely a better tool if the goal is to improve riding skill
The back wheel is much bigger than the front wheel aha ha. Try that grafting again.
Re-engineering the exhaust is not an issue as it's done almost every year. Euro 5, Euro 6, how much more can we stuff in that box? I miss that 2019 V2 look. Omg that was gorgeous. This thing looks like someone stole it off a scooter.
So much mental masturbation for a bike that will be introduced in just 9 days...
I’ve got a case of the covid hoax and a lot of free time on my hands so real wanking makes me winded
If you set your .... hand to SPORT mode, it may take you longer to get there, but it should be a lot less effort

IIRC the rule states that the configuration must remain the same as production.
So SSSA can't switch to DSSA or vice versa but can modify within the configuration.
