Hiya. My name is JB, and I just got a Panigale V2 that I'm planning on racing. I'm here to learn tips and tricks about the bike and also participate in the Classified to buy and sell parts.

I'll be slowly converting this V2 in to a MotoAmerica race bike and will be parting-out all of the street stuff.

Thanks for having me.

JB

PS / Edit: I've been on numerous other forums under the same, or similar name (JB.Junior), FZ07, WERA, CMRA, Triumph675). Just for some, "street cred..."

Welcome let's see the progress of this bike. @Bruce Wayne is building a V2 also and will def be a proper race bike. Same as @DeussenEngines - look them up for info

Thanks!

I'm not sure how much I'll document the process. I did that for my last MotoAmerica Twins bike build, and it was very time-intensive. I'll try to post some pics here and there.

where in texas brother? I'm in Austin...

Hey, bru. I'm north of Houston. I am down for some street rides! That's part of why I'm taking the build slowly. I was actually just in Austin for Ridesmart at COTA two weeks ago but was on my FZ Twins Cup bike. I doubt I'll be up there soon, but let me know if you're down this way.

right on brother..i was at cota as well both those days...

Hell i was at V1 moto in Houston just this past friday for a maintenance light reset (i drive 181miles to V1 moto, b/c their the only ducati show i trust these days...)

hit me up next time your up north here...and next spring maybe you can tag along on a Twisted sisters ride...usually leave austin around 5am...back around 5-7pm, and its usually a 500-750mile day! good times

Yeah, Carlos is a fast racer and knows these bikes well. I was kind of disappointed that they are selling new bikes so much over MSRP, but I guess that's the market, so fair play to them. I've brought my old Hyper there for fixing a few times. They're good. Glad you found a place you like and trust.

Badass on COTA. Even though it was chilly, I felt the bike performed well, and I hit a PB on my Yamaha.

Yeah, for sure. I appreciate that. I'll also be at any COTA track day next year and will be racing Twins Cup, and maybe SS, at COTA as well. I'm #19 (or will be next year, anyway...)
