I’ve never seen a Dealer of any type of vehicle ever do a flash of ‘part’ of the system…I highly doubt that Ducati does.
the software not the dealer.......

I have an OBDstar for this kinda stuff.
I have a generic OBD-II scan tool and an OBDStar. The OBD-II tool won't reset service indicators but the OBDStar will.
There’s something called “transmission adaptive” but not “drive adaptive.” I’d speculate it’s the same but can’t be certain. On a side note, with the most recent update it can reset PIN codes now.

Generally about one to two years. There are periodic updates all the time but I never noticed a regular interval though. Every once in a while I'll VPN my phone to a Japan server, hotspot the iScan and check for updates. How long is it normally before the Iscan updates to new models? Mine worked really well on the 2020 V4 bit is currently very limited on the 23 bike.
I saw that in one of the V4R threads. I think that's why some people have problems with the DQS after changing gearing.Take a look this

Mine worked on my 2021 by selecting a EU4 2020. But now it will auto identify by VIN and seems to support more of the dealer functions like the pin reset right at two years later.

That’s what I’m thinking. It’s the only thing close.
ETA: Here are the resets under the special function sub menu for the ECU.

"Reset gears" is what you need to start the gear teach-in or relearn process.
Reset gears is about retraining the shifter sensor as to what gear you're in (I think we're saying the same thing). Have you tried the transmission adaptive reset function? I'd love to be able to have the DQS downshifting function back. I'm off the original gearing about 20%. I hate to mess with stuff and then realize I need another device to complete or worse a dealer. I wonder if there's a selective table in there. Thanks.
Yes, we’re talking about the same thing. Once you reset it you just get a “—“ instead of a gear or N. Starting from neutral you have to go down into first then pull the clutch, etc.Reset gears is about retraining the shifter sensor as to what gear you're in (I think we're saying the same thing). I went down two in the front and had problems with the DQS downshifting.I went one teeth higher on the rear. I don't feel any issues I just want to follow as Ducati says for optimum electronics. I have ordered the device I will let you know what it doed

No table that I can see.
I went back to OEM gearing and really haven't found the need to change it. Probably never needed to change it in the first place, just wanted something to wrench on.I think I can fix that.
It does not allow you to select a value, but what table are you referring to?I was asking about the trans adaptive reset function. I guess I'll see what it does. If it allows you to select a value like the one in the table that was posted then that's the fix.
