This reminds me of the famous line from the Black Knight after losing both arms and legs, "Running away, eh? You yellow .......s! Come back here and take what's coming to ya! I'll bite your legs off!".

Last year a buddy of mine got t-boned on his Aprilla by an old lady (who tried to leave the scene) at an intersection. He was laid up for awhile, lost his spleen, but ended up with a new bike AND a new Porsche...

Truly blessed guy to walk away!!! It was great meeting you as well Chris, C U at Barber!!

Glad you're OK and sure the bike will get replaced OK for you.

Went for my normal Sunday morning run in the mountains today, had forgotten so close to Christmas that living on a holiday island there are loads of tourists who've never driven on a mountain road and come round all the corners in the middle or wrong side of the road.

After 40 minutes gave up and road slowly home, riding is great but not worth taking more risks than necessary. Even when it is very frustrating!!!

Stay safe everyone

Luis! Congrats, so are you waiting for the 13 or getting the 12?

Well, I am waiting for the insurance to pay for the panigale so I can go ahead and get the multi. That being said Paul is holding the last '12 on the floor for a few days but as soon as I get the loan taken care of I am jumping for that 2012. It is a good price and right now I need to save $, so going with a leftover 12 will be good.

"Oh I didnt see him"
ALways LOVE that excuse! TO the ........ in cars driving like idiots- No- you saw him- youre just too god damn much in a hurry and don't care if you kill anyone as long as you get to your destination 3 seconds earlier. Watch out out there guys- people could care less- theyre too lazy to take a second look for us guys on bikes- we're all on our own.

I'm from NJ and every intersection im cut off- green lights to me mean I stop and look both ways- I cant even go through the intersection by my house at night without flashing the high beams many times and proceeding slowly.
I'd rather drive past traffic at 120 then stay with them at 65. (id feel much safer).

Are you sure, buddy? I bet on having you on the market for a sportbike next summer ;)

Glad to see or hear you doing well with no major injuries. Always a good thing to hear someone was able to walk away from a pretty serious accident.

I also got into a similar accident almost 2 years ago. My ZX-6RR looked just about the same as your panigale after T-boning a car at 50mph that ran a red light.

Although I didnt come away with it as clean. I went into the rear quarter panel, and came out with a broken arm, fully dislocated hand, and a permanent boxers fracture. Still, incredibly lucky, could have been much worse.

Fortunately, I got an excellent lawyer. After a year of care and legalities, I eventually came away with an 1199S, the best medical care, and a fat insurance check that bought plenty more toys.

Rather accomodate to the traffic than let the traffic accomodate to me.

The Multi is no slouch! That thing is fast. Still I am sure I will get an SBK, just a cheap one that I can crash with not too many worries (used BMW S1krr). Dont worry our rides will still be good. We might both be surprised.

Good you came out in "one" piece. ^^^ Not to be greedy but it's Xmas and new toys are the rule! :D Happy Holidays to you as well.
