thanks guys, we appreciate the pics but we are anxious to get a more detailed pic of the headlight from front...with them off, low beam and high beam. thanks tons

Us STD guys gotta stick together man lol

You lucky ......., I am soooo envious, mind you snow forecast for this weekend here:eek:. Still haven't heard a peep from the dealer. Can you put some pics up with the carbon goodies on it?

Oke dan!zeker relax voor je.....ik moet nog een weekje langer geduld hebben ze gaat dinsdag gelijk naar de spuiter maar het is echt een supervette bike ofniet?!
Heb er bijna twee uur kwijlend en lachend naar staan kijken......

We spreken elkaar nog en anders keep it safe mate!!

Great Sir, could you take some detail close photos of the base model? front, sides, back, side shock, rear wheel, with lights on low and high beam ... us standard/ base guys want great pics since we've been seeing so much of the S and Tric model photos ... Thankx !!! Mucho!!!
 
i will do my best to make good pictures as soon as possible. i will get the bike around 10th may on that day i wil make a ton of pictures!!!! and i will let you know about the smoke.

ik vind hem mooier als die S uitvoering. de velgen ,spatbord en die dikke voorvork maken hem echt fantastisch!.

veel plezier ook ermee man en doe voorzichtig!
 
oh and i will not use the stock lights .... i will put 8000K Xenon HID in the headlights when i pick her up on the 10th

That is correct - last official word from Ducati is that the first deliveries for the base model would begin the week of May 14th. The memo said they would be prioritized by when dealers placed orders for pre-sold units.

This is what was conveyed to me also. I have given my soul a date of May23rd-ish .. so Im not disappointed if I dont see my base model on the week of May 14th. (with Ducati is always expect the unexpected)

My mind keeps flirting with May 17th....wishful thinking? lol

reason is, they said the S would was to arrive on the April 23rd and most dealers got them on the 24th...because they were closed on the 23rd ;-).
 
can someone please take pictures of the front forks from riding view like the top i wanna se the top of the front forks please
 
can't wait to install the LEDS in the base....ill post pics up once they are in I promise....of course once i get my bike....i refuse to put HIDS in....thing of the past....my opinion of course

I've heard conflicting information about the ability to do this. What've you heard on how easy it is to do? Is the wiring harness the same? Is it basically plug and play? And what've you heard on cost?
I emailed the dealership in Charlotte, and they said it was possible and easy, and about $2,000. But others on here have said that their dealer told them the wiring harness was different, and it wasn't possible (that doesn't seem to pass the common sense test though in my mind - manufacturing efficiencies primarily).
I knew someone on here would be giving it a go as soon as it was possible, let me know how it works out.

I plan to do the same. But, I'll let you try it first ! :)
