Anyone running the new Termignoni Slip-ons?

Really interested to see the numbers on a 1299 especially before and after.
I'm considering the Power Commander V if no up map appears
Is there definitely no db killers available for the front exit pipe?!
Concerned without I wont get on track days here in the UK which are getting more stringent noise wise! (usual noise limit is 102db, some places 105db)

Definitely no DB killers for the front exit Termi's. Am concerned about sound level as well; OK for me to be somewhat louder than stock as it was already obnoxiously loud (yes I know, I'm weird), but I have my limits. Will have to see when I get them on, but if they're too much there will be a lightly used set here in the classified section. Will try to remember to vid them and get a comparative before/after DB reading off my phone app.

Akropovic Exhaust

Is the exhaust the same on the 2014 1199 Panigale as it is on the 2015 Panigale? I am looking for an exhaust and all the sites I go to have one for the 1199 but not listed for 1299 yet. I am just looking to do the Akropovic Slip on's.

The new Termi slipons are way lighter.

Will have to see when I yank the stockers off. Wasn't that impressed picking the Termi's up, but then I regularly pedal a bike up and down mountains that weighs less less than half a tank of gas on my Pani. Not the tank, just the gas... ;)

I weighed the 2, and it was 10 pounds difference. I have a road bike that weighs 18lbs - a Motobecane from the 70's :)

Outrageous!

well, these new Termis look awesome, and while still relatively expensive in the exhaust world, they're one of the cheapest options for the Panigale.

For $2000 I'd expect full stainless pipes too, but I understand the Ducati Tax.

Sure; they came from Omnia Racing in Italy.

Hadn't dealt with Omnia Racing before, but as they didn't seem to be in stock domestically as noted here in the forum, I figured I'd give 'em a try. Wasn't in any hurry to get them, so I was surprised to seem them ship and arrive so quickly. I would've guessed the better part of a month based on past experience with some other vendors in Italy, so a pleasant surprise. Ordered them after hours on Friday, Omnia sent tracking info Monday morning, and they were in my office Wednesday.

wait, what? SIX DAYS from Italy?? wow. just, wow.

I've ordered exhausts from Italian vendors. Never in a rush, because I know it's going to take a month....

I have seen on a couple of the eBay adverts for these slip ons stating 102db.
Not sure how accurate that is!?

Actually more like three since I placed the order in what would have been the middle of Friday night there. Order confirmation came straight away; no action over the weekend as expected, then was very surprised to see DHL shipping info Monday morning my time. Two days from then to them being in my grubby paws via Naples/Bergamo/Brussels/Cincinnati/Me; definitely a new record for me getting anything out of Italy. Ain't modern life grand?

definitely amazing, although Omnia Racing's price is $500 more than Motowheels.

just curious as i have a full termi system it was the only thing out there and i waited a year to get it because there was no akra. why would anybody even consider termi now? you a replacing a SS header with another SS header. the workmanship isn't that good.

not trying to flame you or high jack this thread but if i were in the mkt i wouldn't even consider termi. nor would i even consider slips.

You can get a Titanium header for the termis now. Omniracing sells them.

Not sure where you're getting that price, as their listed one is about $120 less. You do pay shipping which you don't at Motowheels, but even then it's still a bit under; maybe $20 or so. Not enough difference to matter either way really.

Sure; the new Termi design (which uses TI and CF) promises to improve mid range power and linearity by taking out a lot of the flat spot in the OEM power curve (see attached dyno chart Termi markets them with), as well as knocking 10+ pounds off the bike, all for close to $2K less than what I've seen the Akra slips listed at. Note that these are a completely different design to the original Termi's. Whether they actually perform as advertised remains to be seen. Fair to say they aren't as pretty as the Akra's, but they're a good bit prettier than the stock ones... ;)

apparently I was seeing European VAT-added prices. Based on your experience, I just placed an order with them. Add 60 Euros for shipping and 36 Euros for using Paypal, still came out to $2004 - so about $50 cheaper than Motowheels. Let's hope my experience in fast shipping is as good as yours was!

appearance is definitely subjective - I think these are the prettiest cans available....if one can accept the front exit as "ok".

In terms of performance gains from changing the stock collector pipes, I was told by a very informed person at the dealership that the 1299 stock pipes are the same dimensions as the 1199 Akrapovic pipes...just made in a heavier gauge steel. So presumably, anyone adding 1199 aftermarket pipes to a 1299 will be saving weight but gaining nothing in terms of performance.

It can never be said enough - $5000 for the Akrapovic system is just plain stupid, and will become even more plainly stupid as 1299-specific full systems come to market. It's simply easy profits based on scarcity.

Because I clearly remember the last time I saw a $5000 Akrapovic system - for the BMW HP2 Sport. It was the only aftermarket option.

I like Akras; I've owned full systems. They cost me up to $2000 which is not cheap but worth the cost in terms of the quality of workmanship. And that's how much a top-notch full titanium exhaust should cost - $2000.

Have seen that power/torque graph and that is exactly what I'm hoping it will do to my 1299!
That can't be from just bolting on a slip on though?! There must be some dyno time and removing the cat?
