Anyone running the new Termignoni Slip-ons?

Have seen that power/torque graph and that is exactly what I'm hoping it will do to my 1299!
That can't be from just bolting on a slip on though?! There must be some dyno time and removing the cat?

The cats go as they're inside the stock cans, and the exhaust comes packaged with a high-flow Sprint P08 air filter. Same as comes stock in the Superleggera unless I'm mistaken.

But yes, supposedly the published dyno results are without tune; slip-ons and filter only. No doubt a Rapidbike or similar should allow more improvement by managing A-F and timing. Early days for this exhaust, so we shall see!

For this slipon, yes! It is a complete redesign of the exhaust flow. Termi and Akro kept the same basic design, just lighter than stock. And this, because of the new design, is lighter then them both!

just press click; it's what I did last night :)
Seems like a lot of us on this Forum and a bunch on a couple of other Forums are going the Termi slip-on route. Maybe Akrapovic is leaving a TON of business on the table because of their absurd pricing.

And, it has to be said, the new simpler design is part of the reason for the lower price; there is just a lot less going on inside the cans. Disregarding whether that's a good thing or not for their performance, these are in effect just low-mount, backwards versions of the kind of straight-through silencers like you'd have seen on the back of any previous generation Ducati. They just carry about a $1K premium over them. You do get a nice $90 air filter with them though...

I am thinking that is why no need for an upmap. These ran great right after the install. Maybe a dyno and tune will give it more/better HP, but as far as drivability at 30 or 150mph I couldn't ask for better performance.

I'm just seeing it this way - I bought $1000 cans and a $1000 air filter :D

I've also got a Tuneboy kit coming; I hope the new 1299 map gets along with these new cans. It'll likely have to spend some time at the tuner however.

just need to know what db a 1299 will make with it fitted!
If I can clear 105db requirements for getting onto track days here in the uk I'm in!

I've been thinking of getting the headers, but heard you will have to remove the stock fan assembly.

However, getting an aftermarket fan or suitable replacement that bolts against the radiator would seem possible.

Perhaps even modifying the stock fan to work with the lower radiator?

I think those headers will interfere with the huge mounting area of the stock fan? The lowprofile Fluidyne fan looks like it would work. Smaller than 7" seems best.

Here is a 5" fan: Derale 5" Tornado Electric Fan - 315 CFM Derale Radiator Fans D16505

Here is a 4" fan: A1 Electric Online Store: Spal 30103018 4" Fan (pull)

The 4" version seems like the one on the Pani.

I was actually contemplating adding one of those ^^^ to the upper radiator to give it a little more cooling.. anyone have exp with something like that? I see temps in the high 220's often enough to make me want it cooler

for those who've installed these already - how was the install? I'm mentally planning this out, about pulling the stock cans and installing the Termis - the front bracket is easy to access, the rear clamp is straightforward, but that middle bracket looks a bit awkward to access...

Instal is a breeze really. Nothing significant to worry about. Just removing the left side rearset is a must. Makes it easier to do if you have the CNC racing version since the plate comes off allowing you to play with the bolt on the rear bracket.

The removal of the valve is easy too. I used a stainless bolt and washer with a bit of exhaust gasket maker.

Looking at getting those header pipes down the road. The upper radiator has very little room to play with. I think that is why there is a heat exchanger and a small fan down low?

pulled my stock exhaust off this afternoon. The middle bracket was a bit tight to access, and the left rearset did come off, but all in all this took about 30min, and I've never taken apart the exhaust before.

Termis arrive tomorrow - I'm very, very excited!
