Tastes bad, but I'll get over it.:D

Lol.. well firstly thanks for getting this thread back from the odd place it just went.. secondly you gotta report back man.. either way.... Did you have to beg for a test ride or was it just offered?? Both my dealers say Aprilia doesn't give them any test bikes or ability to offer test rides... Its a huge stumbling block for me...

i hope you'll update us when the dash is totally weatherproofed, improved resistors notwithstanding.

Just a note, many of my bikes dashes have fogged. My RC51 had an electronic dash and it also fogged and they also warped/melted from heat inside the dash. But Honda fixed that. They sent me a cool black anodized aluminum plate to stick ontop the dash so you didn't see the melted spot. Better than new :D

Those Japanese are so smart...:D

I did see an RSV4 Factory at the track this weekend and it looks better in person. Sounds awesome too with the Akra exhaust but I'm not a fan of the full right side can... It would look cool to cut that can in half..

Trust me, out of sight out of mind. I was happy. I pity the ones I see nowadays that didn't get that update. That melted spot is an eyesore and for some reason my eyes always glance that way just to check it out ;)

I called the dealer and asked if they had a demo, they said they would later this week. I asked how long I could ride it, they said prolly 20 minutes with one of their people on a "guide" bike. Then he asked how old I was. When I told him, he said I could prolly go out alone and longer.

The Pani gets the look nod only by a point in my opinion. The Competition Werkes can looks sick on this bike and cleans up the hideous stock exhaust.Totally changes the look.I've got a CW on the way. I'm pullin for Ducati to close the gap...but unless posin on the Duc at starbucks, this is the better bike by a decent margin..no denying it.

I bet that is looooouuuuuddddd....

I've heard one..and it sounds awesome! The v4 growl and whine sounds like a moto gp bike with this pipe. The key to this bike is the race ecu and an aftermarket pipe. My CW pipe actually arrived but they ceramic coated it grey....not what i asked for..so had to send it back.Have my race ECU from AF1 racing sitting and waiting for the pipe..then this thing will really sing. Even stock..the mid range punch out of corners is awesome and addictive. Like the Duc though...seems to take a few miles before the engine comes to life.Mine is getting better and better!

It puts up good numbers on the dyno as well. Af1 just dynoed a bike with this pipe and they admitted they were not expecting great things from it. They said , for whatever reason,it did very well in conjunction with the race ECU and were quite surprised at the results!

do you think the CW pipe hurts overall performance due to lack of back pressure? i actually prefer it over the AR, assuming you can order one without that logo plate riveted on -- i'm sure you can, right?

CW pipe cleans it up nice

But no wild claims?? Good move on their part...
