I’ll focus on riding my bike. Kickstand won’t affect lap times and I can’t see it doing too much damage in a crash.

Seems like the pitbull stand is a little easier to use than the DP. DP pin is almost a slip fit into the hub.

I also ride my bike to the track, no trailer yet so the wheel stand is out of the question.

Man I like driving my car to the track, beating trailered cars, then driving it home….but that’s because I can fit a little tent, fluids for the car and me, lunch, tools, air compressor etc into the car then take them out when I’m running it.

I have too much stuff that I like to bring with me to bring on a bike to the track, so I bought ramps, abs straps, and rent a pickup truck from National for the weekend to haul the bike and all my stuff.

I’ll buy a van though for the future.

Oh it’s definitely a plus to be able to trailer a bike to the track, throw in some tools and a cool box. I plan on getting a trailer some day.

Past few track days my girlfriend joins me in her car and I put my stuff in there but with Lusail being literally a 10 minute ride I can see myself soloing with no issues.

its actually not hard, I do it at home.

get off, hold the tail of the bike to keep it vertical with one hand then slide the pit bull peg into the wheel hub opening and push down on the stand

if the stand isn’t within reach of the tail of your bike then it’s an issue but that’s just planning ahead
I need the side stand to dismount from the bike because I am short, old and decrepit!

This came today, wanted to try it, the Soumy SR-GP

I’m just gunna say it….it’s a better helmet than the AGV PISTA RR.

the Soumy is lighter, more comfortable, and higher quality build…..with a significantly better view portal.

I have the Bell Star Carbon fiber
The Pista RR

and this Soumy

the AGV is better than the Bell, but the Soumy is better than the AGV by as much as the AGV is better than the Bell.

But have you tried….

This?

I haven’t read the product description but I’m gonna guess you can benefit from better braking performance coming out of a tuck. No need for a leg dangle and you can extend the life of your slipper clutch too, not to mention the reduction in lap times of course. All around win!

and as a side bonus you never have to pack a lunch again, the collection of small birds and bugs it scoops up funnel right into the built in protein smoothie blender for a truly wholistic and sustainable riding experience.

With the Woolich you can disable the AIS with their software. I suppose you could remove it and install some block offs to simplify things a bit.

yeah both are being disabled with the Woolich but as we have the whole thing apart we ordered and will install the AIS block off plates. you can just disable them but there is a pretty good amount of useless plumbing that goes away but blocking them off and removing all the lines that go to them.

The Woolich kit comes with one wideband O2 sensor.

you can still do cylinder by cylinder tuning but you have to move the one wideband to each port and do them one at a time.

we’ll do that while the bike is apart, but we are also buying a 2nd wideband and leaving it installed with a lead where we can access it easily.

so when we need to tune it as we ride it we can at least do the front bank and back back of the cylinders without taking the bike apart.

I yanked that stuff out when I did my full exhaust since it seemed like I was perpetually waiting on some nonsense part and had the ti. I went with the Smartmoto ones.

If the widebands are in single exhaust runs, not in the 1 of the 2-1 if you follow me, why bother with another single? I'd think you'd just use one or four, but two or three doesn't seem to be much benefit compared to cost and expense.

simplification really, the biggest variances will be bank to bank, front to back, so by running two O2 sensors front and back we can manage the banks by only tuning twice instead of four times every time we want to make an adjustment on the fly.
