Stock the V4 is 14.5K 1-5 and 15k in 6. I don't know how far I'd go past that. I think SLR will just make 1-5 15k too.

I was going to say, that's pretty sassy for Rick! He's usually so polite hahaha
@RickD996

I asked SLR to leave my factory redline untouched.

I have a sassy side!

Yep, me too. Although, when I put the V4R on the dyno, power line had no drop off at peak revs. When I first started riding it, I found it difficult not to hit the limiter, so linear in delivery too. The 1100 def drops off.

I don’t really need more power to go faster, I need to learn to ride better to go faster lol

I already catch people who are a 3rd of the way ahead of me on the straights as I exit the curve like they were standing still.

the only reason I care about it is to maximize the bike’s ability abs the stuff I bought for it until I get better at the track

Some more pics…new clutch slave on, as is the H20 RADIATOR, we also solved the kickstand touching the exhaust problem by simply drilling abs placing an indexing screw in the existing bracket. Heat shield for the Spark SBK installed abs looks great.

using

IMA thumbrake installed but waiting on the last brake line to complete.

As an aside, the guys were padding my ego yesterday and telling me that short of a sponsored SBK race team they don’t think there is a better set up track bike 1103 engined V4 out there.

I hope over time I can do her justice with my riding.

Bike looks great man but damn there is a lot going on there. Not so sure I would want to troubleshoot that thing if something went sideways. Short of a whole kit does anyone make an aftermarket harness for the V4? The V4s electrical system looks like haunted house.

Being able to buy a race harness for these things would be amazing - no one does...

Troubleshooting electrical systems is always a .... fest anyway, especially with OEM stuff. A race harness might make it a little bit less of a PIA but what you really want to simplify the electronics is a PDM (Power Distribution Module)[emoji108] gets rid of fuses, relays, all that .... and replaces them with solid state switches that are completely user defined.

They offer numerous other benefits… less weight, programmable trip re-try etc.

Simply bad-ass.
