is that can next to it for scale?
Yes that is its actual size and yes it is a reality and yes you can pair them into the “Terrier” 670HP 135lbs

theres a guy that re-invented the rotary engine without all the flaws of the rotary engine, with HUGE volumetric efficiencies, petrol engine that’s putting out similar numbers at similar weights.
Yea I saw that but he isn’t Koenigsegg and that motor according to the video is a concept.

So Koenigsegg is now designing and building their own batteries. My bet is on these guys despite less money than Musk. Koenigsegg is about as close to alien tech as you’re going to get. Their engineering facilities are amazing.

the real wonder will be when they can get the batteries that size....

IMO, that's what is holding electric back...not that its really being held back.

Koenigsegg is for sure pushing the engineering. You have to be a Saudi prince to pay for it, but its interesting tech for sure.

Battery tech is not CNC and metal fabrication skills, its the world of whitecoat Phd teams exploring atomic level material science. Every major car company not to mention dedicated battery manufacturers are looking for energy density, Phoney Stark goes meh and uses common Panasonic lithiums. Good luck to Christian but I cant see much more than skillful repackaging.

Phoney Stark?

Isn’t Musk of Scandinavian decent too?

say what you want about Musk, he had thevision to take what people thought of as a kind of fringe joke of a concept and made Electric cars a world mainstay and brought the performance of the cars and the technology to beyond what petrol cars can do.

A big mistake would be to assume that a guy capable of doing that is done, with his best accomplishments behind him….you don’t stop being who you are

are there smarter people out there? For sure, but I only know of a hand full of people in modern times that have been able to execute on a huge world changing vision the way he has.

Steve Jobs, The founders of Google, Mark Zuckersburgh, Bezos at Amazon, Bill Gates, and Elon Musk….that’s rarified air.

the guys at Palantir will probably change the world behind the scenes too.

of those one is dead, one is aging out but still doing incredible work, the other guys I think aren’t even close to done yet.

Google has Quantum computing coming, Facebook and Apple are creating a digital multiverse, Bezos is buying up the world and getting everything delivered to your door in hours and minutes not days or weeks, Musk will do his thing too.

Not bashing Musk at all but he isn’t hands on. Yes he noodles around his facilities in business casual and does press conferences but he isn’t going to punch our a forged composite engine block after hours. CVK could. Koenigsegg built his company from the ground up. He knows how to do just about everything his workers do from being a master at CAD and machining to the latest composite construction. His patents are insane. He know every inch of his vast engineering, manufacturing and development platform.

The Tesla automobile from a technology perspective and from a mechanical perspective is a Camery. You ever go through one of those things. Complete POS from the materials used to design. I’m a huge Musk fan for many reasons but take away the PayPal money and that guy is working as a programmer in SV. Give Koenigsegg that money and we would probably have functional synthetic planets and time travel.

CK is a real master in his field, absolutely amazing automobiles created by very original thinking and executed to perfection, Musk has nothing on him as a creator. Musk fell upwards and has leveraged his success by having so much money he cant .... up, thats the great thing with our capitalist system, once you get your first hundred billion you really cant go wrong :)

ok we’re all over the place here. I was kind of centering on the “Tony Stark” theme and not the Uber nerds in that list of who’s who with the potential exception of Musk. Those clowns all have something in common, Santa Clara CA and OPM. Let’s keep a little “cool” factor in the mix.

I wasn’t commenting on engineering prowess, I was commenting on the ability to create a very big vision, a world affecting vision, and then making it happen, it’s the rare individual capable of that, abs that’s what I give Musk props for.

there’s probably only 50,000 or so me’s in a world of 7 billion, there’s certainly less than 10,000 Endodocs out of 7 billion…..there’s less than 10 Musks in the world….that’s what I was trying to say.

LOL you give me way too much credit my friend. I’m just another dick in the system. I get what your saying. Valid points for sure
