man I’m the top guy in the world at my profession, and I have a little bit of Michael Jordan-esque dickishness about it lol

Because I worked my ass off to get there and stay there, in the process I changed an entire industry, a not inconsequential one.

it’s not a little thing to become number one in the world at something….it’s also not that big of a pat on the back to myself to say I’m one of probably 50,000 people with similar or better success in their chosen field.

Having said that, Endodoc is one of the rare birds I look up too, because he’s done all that in his niche and is monetizing it really well AND has his free time.

I wasn’t referring to income, not much anyway, I was more referring to success within a given field, or more specifically having an outlier vision and accomplishing it….but part of keeping the score on that is how well you monetize it probably

In any case, I was trying to reference just how big of accomplishment the career of a guy like Musk is.

Lots of talented brilliant amazing people in this world, only a handful have a world changing vision and execute on it.

Exactly, and how many Americans have positioned themselves for a positive outcome? Next to ....... zero. They are already running the credit cards up from the Covid pay down. Bunch of ....... do nothing, go nowhere sheep heading to another slaughter, uh I mean government subsidization which of course comes from the people who didn’t make as bad a choice and still have money for the gov to steal who weren’t quite as savvy as those 1%ers who are going to double their take home and keep it all. Choices my friends, choices.

1 Own manufacturing of critical items independent of event driven scenarios.
2 Have a healthy ratio of legacy government customers
3 Leveraged the “essential” supply chain politics to ensure prioritized, uninterrupted resources.
4 Do whatever the .... you want regardless of what the rest of the globe is doing. Ride bikes, lift weights and vacation a lot. Not that difficult.
