Motoholders and some new CF bits getting mocked up.

We had all three tail and subframes setups there, stock, FullSix CF read Subframe, and the Motoholders with all CF stuff attached to it.

The FullSix was 7 pounds lighter than stock, but the big surprise was that the Motoholders with CF bits for the tail was about a pound lighter than the FullSix rear subframe setup.

ill do some more pics tomorrow. .. its dark and cold out.

they have just done another batch so it took say 5 days with customs etc.... ordered direct from Pierobon.
seat angle and all mountings are the same as everything has just buttoned up to it...

Yea that looks pretty stout on the V4. It displays a nice amount of gusseting. The V2 version is flimsy. Probably not bad for a 70kilo jockey but it made me nervous

Okay, other than a data logger and camera setup I’m gunna call this build complete.

Tank extender is still at paint getting color matched but that’s 2 screws.

A post note on those wings, people either love em or hate em, but since I’ve gotten this bike the front end has felt light and slightly unstable at high speeds, we sorted a lot of stuff and greatly diminished it but it never fully went away…those wings took that from being a weak spot on the bike to a huge positive, feels shockingly stable at very high speeds and hard accelerations, it’s more stable at speeds above 150 mph than any bike I’ve ever ridden now. It’s just dead solid, and confidence inspiring.

Out of curiosity, what does getting a tank cover finished cost? I'm contemplating options.

I was thinking about testing flat seat before flat seat plus tank extender.

I bought that same windscreen just from your post. Tall guy problems. Hopefully it will be here before the ground thaws.

Why did you pick 34?

7 is my number, I’m the oldest of 7 kids, the 1st and 7th were born on the same hour of the same day 7 minutes apart, 7’s just repeat a lot in my life.

I usually use the number 777, or just 7…but too many people have on their bikes.

For me the number 7 reminds me to look at some higher cause, either self improvement or helping others with their development when appropriate.

So I wanted a 7 on my bike to remind myself to use track time as a means of seif improvement and discovery.

But too many people have 7’s on their bikes…but…

3+4 equals 7….kind of an inside joke/message to myself.

I have a guy that does good work for a good price here in SoCal, about $300.

Prices on that kind of thing vary wildly, $150 to $700…obviously someone trying to charge you $700 is probably over value-ing their work product for painting just the tank extender lol
