Interesting more weight was removed from the rear, the V4 seems to have too much weight on the front, this years wsbk has fuel load pushed a long way back, im assuming to tey and take some weight of the front?

Just watched Freddie at SBU weighing their 2019 V4R in std trim and then with all their trick bits on later.
it went... ( I converted it to kg)

Obviously they had proper scales as apposed to my digital bathroom scales..

std bike
F -104kg
R - 91 kg
Total 196 kg = 53.06% f bias

After all their trick mods

F - 201 kg
R - 175 kg
Total - 171 kg = 53.22% f bias

yes I agree. I have seen people complaining about 'bottoming out' on their front end, i've also had this at Portimao bottoming out the front at the end of the S/F straight.. admittedly everything is against you there coming down from around 175mph and the track falls away at the beginning of the braking area..i've upped to 10.5 front springs and think I need to go to 11..

If the bike feels good everywhere, sometimes it's worth living with bottoming out, if it only occurs in one place.
You can also reduce the air gap, by five or ten mm, to help with a little more support at the end of the stroke.
You can also go to 10.75, by just swapping one 10.5 spring for an 11.

Yeah we're running 12nm Springs in the front fork and our rider is 70kg with gear! Hardest front spring we've ever run. Fortunately it hasn't affected front end grip too much

How do you get sag ok in the front with those heavy springs?
