@Somefun

Did you ask Bren about how soon we can expect the same for the SF? And do you know if the units will work on more than one bike?
I did he said they are working on it and hopefully maybe a couple months. He wanted to know if I wanted to give him my SF but I’m not sure I do yet. I’m ok with his tune for the Speciale because they are only an hour and a half from me so it’s not like I’m in CA running a tune made in CT.

I have been able to custom tune my bike with tuneboy. Took a lot of work to get it working. Their support has not been that good. I have a thread on here with my frustrations. Basically they sold me software that didn't work and took almost a year to give me an updated version that did work.

SLR Tuning and Brentune both use devices made by an Italian company, DimSport.

Essentially, it's a handheld device which can read and flash the V4 ECU. But you need the software to program the device, which is where SLR and Brent Brentune come in.

They send you a handheld device, it reads your ecu. You send this file to SLR or Bren, they rewrite it (flash file), send it back to you, and you load it onto the handheld device, and then onto your ecu.

I think Rexxer also offer a similar device.

Curious if these tuners tune the torque curve with the variable stacks on the v4. [emoji848]

I know the stacks have a sensor but I think they are driven off of the throttle butterflies by a linkage. IE, there's not an individual motor or actuator for them.
