I know the stacks have a sensor but I think they are driven off of the throttle butterflies by a linkage. IE, there's not an individual motor or actuator for them.
Well that’s boring!

Ask the guys over at Superbike Unlimited or Woolich they will give you the same answer everyone else does.
If you already know can't you just speak on it?
The SBU guys didn't even bother they went with the Motec stuff easier to tune. Woolich doesn't want to spend the money/time. They didn't even get enough return on what they invested into the 99 stuff which works phenomenal.
The Dim Sport does have limitations, it doesn't access everything. SLR mapped me a quick action throttle, and fuelling maps. But either he couldn't, or wouldn't, adjust the traction maps. So, maybe the velocity stacks aren't available with the software too? He was able to adjust the rpm limit.
gearbox (up/down shutter cut off time etc ...) and traction controls are managed by BBS.
Black box systemBBS?
Black box systemBBS?
It is a device called BLACK BOX UNIT. The BBS is an ECU. Dash boards, abs and imu are ECUs as well. The left switch box is also connected with the LIN bus, so you can say it is an ECU in a sense.BBS?

It’s literally a black box lmfao it’s the core function of the bikeThanks! I appreciate the insight.
What does the bbs do?

You can buy the bench tuner option from dimsport or alien and you can break into a lot on the ECU and tweak almost anything. Very pricey though to buy, at least 3k and you need to know what you’re doing.Black box system
Bren has me pull the fuse when i flash the bike, not a big deal but shows nobody but ducati can get into it
So, it’s a data logger for post-accident analysis?
No, it controls the ABS, DTC etc. I’m not aware of any data logging. If you unplug it the bike will start but will have error messages galore.
