Diagnostic software

I am also having issues trying to register my Ecu. When I click on the blue box in the software for registering, I get an error that pops up.... :(

-John

You didn't put the bike details in the right

I don't get a error code, I get the code with all the details but there is no way to copy and paste it into the register webpage.

Is there a way to get the older melcodiag software?

1- tick debug info /register
2- key in the bike and year in dedicated field
3- tick what service do you want to clear
4- click get licence button

this process works only if you are connected to bike and when software finish to collect the data I need

I did try it with typing 899 Panigale 2014 in that box on the right and ended up with the same end result/error pop up.... :(

Ok, stupid question here but.....

Is a person supposed to click on the blue "get license" button after all info is populated or are you supposed to click on "write report" and cut and paste that info to send off to JP?

Thanks,
-John

All you have to do is make sure all the bike info is in the box then hit the blue button. Once you do that it will take you to another screen just copy n paste the info into the box, make sure bike info and your email is in the box's then hit send.

Hello Mick,
I'm getting the error pop-up when I click on the blue "get license" box. Do you think I could simply click the "write report" button and cut/paste that info into this link/area? http://jpdiag.akress.com/jpdiag.php

Thanks,
-John

Once you press blue button and get to the next screen if I remember correctly just click on the box then hit control V it will automatically paste all the ecu info there.

If your still getting a error its most likely a software problem of some sort you would have to contact JP.

Thanks Mick. I'm trying to get it sorted but not making much forward progress as the blue button gives me a error message no matter what I do....

Question, once a person receives a license from JP, what do you do from there? Does that license info need to be entered somewhere in the program?

Thanks!

-John

I have heard of some people having software errors pop up so definitely send JP a screenshot of your error he will point you in the right direction.

Once you get the license file from him you just copy it into your melco-diag directory on your laptop then your good to go.

I have erased all errors then started the bike and have this error recurring but no CEL.

2013 1199S

1006 sensore coppia sterzante [fiat] even when I translate to english it doesn't make sense I'm pretty sure this bike doesn't have a steering torque sensor?

Also when I click BBS info page in the software it doesn't do anything?

I might know what this is. Did you eliminate your servo motor? I think that's the internal error you get when you use the DUC.EE or when you just not connect anything at all to compensate the missing servo motor

Sweet thats what it is then I have removed the servo motor

Glad I could help. I was getting the same error when I tried DUC.EE or without it. Then I tried servo buddy and was getting a different error. None of those aftermarket devices will make you bike error free when removing the servo motor (even tho they claim they do)

Only way to actually get rid of that is by flashing the ECU and disabling the servo motor (I have Rexxer flash and the error is GONE!)

Well, I tried emailing technoresearch and got crickets. So here I am. I clicked some of the links in this thread and started noseing around a bit. It looks a bit like the old VDST in terms of what I can see (based on screen shots) but what can I do with it. I also I thought that someone posted there are advanced features available for a fee, but I can't find anything. Can someone enlighten me?

Melcodiag is awesome! I was just able to read my DTCs, clear them, reset my tps, and go through the rest of the functions that it's capable of!

Well, I have contacted JPDiag and not heard anything back. Joined the forum and was welcomed with a PM that said "here we will discuss the siemens and Fuji ecu only". So I am scratching my head at not getting any answers. I cant say I am impressed so far...
