Help Support Ducati Forum:

Its so cheap with the rebate. I just ordered a set since I picked up a nail yesterday. the set is cheaper than a supercorsa rear.

motorcycle-superstore.com

They also had a coupon code to get further price off, but I don't remember what it was... It's on the Forum here somewhere.

+1 on the Q3's praises. Used them on my street bike since they first came out and then on my track bike for 1 season so far. I like them a lot. My Q2's at the track used to slip out once or twice per track day and didn't really give me any notice. The Q3's have been planted all the time and the one time it did start to shimmy (my fault, overinflated 2psi on a really hot day), I felt some wiggle prior. I ride all year round and I also feel that the Q3's are a bit more stable in freezing weather.

I completely agree with everything you said, and can attest to these statements being true lol.

coupon code is from motorcycle superstore 5% off it still works. plus 40 off for my ninja i just paid 197.45 for a set of tires for the track thanks for bringing this up

Do you guys mount them yourselves or go to your nearest Ducati dealer?

Honda dealer takes me in for $25 per removed wheel. Ducati is too far away and probably can't compete anyways.
Some of us are on a budget due to Uncle Sam. Trying to live the expensive lifestyle. :)

+1

I've got front/rear stands and the correct tools to remove the wheels and take them to a local shop who sells BSTs and high end stuff. They know how to take care of my wheels and only charge me half or less of what a Duc dealer would. After 2 tire changes, it paid for my T-Rex stands and the front/rear wheel socket tool. After 3 changes, it also paid for my digital torque wrench, vs. what it costs if you bring the whole bike in for tire swaps.

I used a pitbull stand for my last Duc. Do you recommend the T-Rex stand instead? Looking for options now.

I have T-rex Stands. I believe they are excellent for the price. Fit and Finish obviously not Quite pitbull quality, but its not far off in terms of function and reliability. For the price, I am enthusiastically happy and did not regret it one bit.

Back on topic. Rockymountainatvmc.com has the best price I could find on the dunlop q3's. For the 120/70 front and 190/55 rear I ended up paying 233.98 BEFORE the $40 rebate. On top of that, if you use a certain mrrebate site you can get another 3% and whatever else you get from your credit card points. Net cost 184.62 for the full set. No tax for me and free shipping. Regardless you are under 195 for the full set after rebate shipped to you.

i never said t rex was bad just for the price compared to ducati stands and with all their options i feel pitbull is the best. the trailer restraint is amazing.

pitbull the best stands period

This is true.

This is also true, as T-Rex are pretty much slightly modified Pitbull designs. I have the rear one-armed T-Rex stand and it is rock solid and fits perfectly. The finish is pitting a bit, but I don't care about that one bit as the function cannot be improved upon and the price is significantly less.

Do you have a coupon code, or is it a unique code after signing up with mrrebate?

I agree the pitbull trailer restraints are amazing.

Do you have a pic? I never used my previous pitbull stand in a trailer, but am interested in the set up....or are you talking about the add-on restraint bar?
