HELP NEEDED Ducati Streetfighter V4 MY2020 wont start

I connected the diagnosis cable to the sfv4 of my friend. We used the melcodiag software to diagnose the bike.
The software was able to test basic functions like fans etc
But reading out the trouble codes was not possible.
It found the Ecus but wasnt able to read the trouble codes.
We wanted to activate the heated grips so I clicked on activate heated grips.
The heated grips appeared in the dash
WHILE the diagnosis was running we started the engine
We blocked the exhaust with some cardboard to reduce the sound because it was late(neighbours)
Suddenly the dash turned black
We turned the bike off
The bike doesnt start since then
No crank of the motor no starter
Ignition runs fine

While running the diagnostics you started the motor. You've bedazzled the ECU. May I suggest Saging the bike. In all seriousness look at the fuses. I doubt you've corrupted the ECU. If your diagnostic tool was powered by an outside source while it was plugged in and being powered by the bike the Comm port fuse will blow.

Blocking the exhaust was a bad idea. Your neighbors should not have bought a house next to a motorcycle.

I would remove the negative cable from the battery and give it 24 hours or so and try again.

Checking fuses is worthwhile as well.

Make a note to self… NEVER futz with anything on a bike while ANY device is connected to the diagnostics port unless specifically told by the device readout instructions. What you did by starting the bike while the device was connected to the subject ECU caused a voltage drop which faulted said ECU. The bike will not start or run until the ECU is reset/reflashed by a valid tool/device. I strongly recommend a dealer tool with the correct firmware flash for your bike. Good luck in the recovery.

Edit: Any one of the real tuning tools (Dimsport/Woolich, etc) can reset the ECU, but the tool will need your bikes current tune on it.

It was the 15A dashboard which got blown!!
