Hello Yaman.
Should or does the panigale or any vehicle ECU for that matter have some type of auto-adaptivity to internal and external conditions?
Tyring to see the differences between that and the RB platform.
I received my RB Race and love it. Bike runs smoother now especially since you put some of your "touches" based on my mods.
Thanks!
The ECU itself does make adjustments for internal (engine temp, oil temp, intake air pressure, intake air temp, gear pos.) external (ambient air, atm. pressure) . The only thing RB looks for is the RPM and TP for making adjustments. since I talked to customers from all over the world , RB seems to be doing just fine except for very high altitudes. What I have seen was (I think it was around 7000ft altitude) when the stock ECU is making changes due to less oxygen content in the air , stock ecu will start to lean out the mixture in the closed loop area and RB sees it as a lean condition and wants to overcome lean condition and adds fuel, but this is not ideal since RB doesn't know the difference , in that case especially panigale engine being a giant air pump the engine efficiency is suffering at low RPMs to begin with and RB adding fuel does not help at all. In this situation we recommend starting adjustments at 6000rpm and go to +5 -5 with the corrections.
