In about a month, hope to meet a few of the forum members at COTA for the RIDESMART trackday on May 28

just out of curiosity

what lap times are most of you running there?

i was there about 2 years ago and was running 2:36. Having trouble adjusting for the first time to a liter bike, (had just 2 days on a new 19 V4S)

who is going to be there?

Hope I Can meet some of you at the pits

that track looks PHYSICAL, was just there for GP. Maybe fun, but kinda insane tbh

Great to hear that Craig

like i told you in other post, I would strongly recommend you to move up to group 3, if you are running 2:35

in 2a there is way to much traffic, way slower riders, and instructors with 10 guys following behind them

and they let go, like 4 groups of instructors with class, and then the rest of the riders

Well, that was the way they did it 2 years ago

went out 1 sesión in group 2a, and had The chance to move up to group 3

Yes. Longest straight on MotoGP calendar. Having front end lift in 4th gear at 140 mph is an experience.

Watching on the service road at T10 was eye opening

Turn 10 is great!
When you get to the crest just after 9, look for 11 in the distance and let your brain and bike put you on the trajectory. It takes a bit of getting used to because you can't see the apex and rumbles of 10, but it should get you close.

I find 15 the hardest, just because I am not lifting my head and looking for an exit marker. Hard habit for me to break at that corner.

Picked off 3 seconds today from PB. Stock front sprocket definitely feels better for cota than -1.

Still having trouble putting power down on back straight. Front end skims and goes light at 120+. My top speed was 161 and I know theres at least 175 on the table. Going to see if there's a better windshield available and also remove the tank extender (maybe it's keeping my weight too far back?).

See you guys on 28th.
