I know some have taken delivery of the dealership Panigale release bike but has then been customer inventory deliveries, not the single release bike?? If we dont see any inventory coming in this week, It's safe to say there's MORE delays upon us .. :(

My main dealer has had 4 S models picked up already...find out bout my STD tomorrow

Is your dealer a Ducati only dealership/ store? From what I've heard, they get first inventory over general dealerships that sell Ducs.

No, infact mainly Aprilia/CanAm...they're only in there 2nd yr of Ducati sales...they bought the brand from my previous dealer tho who was pretty suscessful.

If your dealer is not getting their fare share of bikes they might have failed to submit orders promptly.

Good luck, stay on their ass !!!!

This is still the last official word from DNA. No further delays yet, the first base models are scheduled to begin arriving the week of May 14th

if that was the case i would've already taken delivery of my s....

Thats correct base model for me coming the week of 14th told by my Ducati dealer last week , i am the first person on top of his list so the first one will be mine ...
he also had two s models abs and no abs , a tri colr as well

your dealer didn't order yours as soon as others then. The memo states they will be delivered by priority of when the dealer placed the reservation.

What number are you on your list? US dealers don't get bikes in large bulk like Euro dealers... (10) bikes in one shipment, that's why they even used customers bikes as their launch bikes, lame I know.

So even if you #5 on the S list, I may still get my STD before guys waiting on S.

hang in there guys, we're all getting close...if your within #10 or so anyway lol

This sucks!! I've had Ducati bikes before but not waiting like this. I guess I've always bought the Ducati bike after it had hit the states in huge bulk .. :(

Also, one of the sales guys told me that Ducati informs the dealership or the dealership Rep a week ahead of time when a shipment will hit their shipment receiving. SO??!!, if a dealership will receive any S or base models on the week of the 14th, then they should get word this week (the week before).

Yup, I expect a call tomorrow...and tho im #2 for the STD im hoping they get at least two in on the same shipment (not uncommom).

So, I have a feeling i'll be riding by the 15th, no later than 17th...plz Ducati gods lol

:D :p I think you are a lil more optimistic than I ... Im #1 on the Base model list for my dealership and I truthfully dont expect to see anything until maybe/ HOPFEULLY the wkend before Memorial Day or maybe even the first weekend in June.

Very optimistic, it's that or bitch and complain and that gets me nowhere lol. I just regret giving up my 1198 so soon, expecting to get a Pani by March (jokes on us).

I even bought a POS Gsxr 750 a month ago to keep me occupied til Pani shows up. Totally forgotting Ive got a '05 600rr sitting in my storage unit, aint been ridden since i bought my fisrt 999 in 06 ;). I still don't even ride it lol

Unfortunately, this is a more realistic expectation (end of May/beginning of June) regarding U.S. deliveries of the Base and Base ABS models; especially when you consider that very few have even been delivered to the U.K. and other parts of Europe (and U.S. deliveries typically lag by at least 2 and usually 4 weeks). If dealers have not been invoiced, they will not be arriving next week, since Ducati invoices upon shipment (technically just before).

Further, while a few base models MAY make an appearance on 5/14 (or that week), it is unlikely that all or even the majority of the pre-orders will be supplied AND, if you ordered an "S" model (with or without ABS, or a Tricolore, I don't see shipments just rolling off the boat weekly as the DNA memo indicated would be the case). In fact, MANY people that have "S" orders are still waiting and we are well past the 4/23 (or week of) delivery promise.

Typical Ducati. It is likely that another lame, late delivery/delay excuse will be forthcoming the week of 5/14 rather than the bikes. Smart move from a business perspective. Pretty much just keep stringing out the customer. Had people knows from the beginning that 1/2 the riding season would be over before they will see their bike they may have opted to puchase something else.

I'm first in line for a base unit at my dealership, but I'm not holding my breath. If I see it by the end of May I'll consider myself lucky.
