my S ABS came in day dealer said it would, took a few days for title to show up but been riding it for a week now. Can't recommend my dealer high enough, put the pre-order in and kept me informed and in it came. If you are in tri-state area check them out in Danbury, CT. MotoFIT,Motorsports,Danbury, Ct, Kawasaki, KTM, Ducati, Husqvarna, Kymco, Haulmark, Pace, ATV, Motorcycle, Watercraft, Jet Ski, Scooters, Trailers

Awesome machine, very very happy! Getting some more carbon for it now.....

Feels like a 600 then the power comes in :) Taking this baby on a twisty road just makes me grin.

Hopefully we'll get the base models in NEXT WEEK and/or THE WEEK AFTER ... if not then, its time to start contemplating getting my loot back

And hopefully you are one of the lucky few to get their base or base ABS in the first shipment, otherwise, you'll be joining those "S" model and Tri buyers that still haven't received their Panigales. Focus in Italy is on base and base ABS production. Oh, where are the "weekly" shipments since week of 4/23 for S models and "weekly" shipments since week of 4/30 for Tricolores? If you DON'T get your base / base ABS in the first shipment, you can imagine the wait. BTW, very few base bikes have even been delivered to the U.K. and they always get theirs first. It really is pathetic to go back and read all of the "my dealer said" comments from months ago. Your bike will arrive prior to the onset of the winter snows and end of the 2012 racing/riding season would be perhaps at least as accurate delivery info. as any that has been provided. The wait goes on. Ducati...deliver my damn bike.

Are you getting yours from Battleys? I got my 1098 from them.

I will also be getting a base 1199 but am waiting until early next year.

Aw c'mon Chuck, give it a rest I see your posts on two different 1199 forums, at this stage everyone knows how angry you are, just put it in your sig line and it'll automatically be there every time you post.

As I mentioned in the other forum, you could buy a new aprilia rsv4 which appears to be as good or better than the pani anyway. I know I love mine!

:)

Picked up my S yesterday from my local dealer in SOCAL..... after working with two different dealerships at the same time (trying to get the best OTD price)... it seemed to me it didn't even matter that everyone was out reserving these bikes.

Considering I just decided on Tuesday that I wanted the 1199 I figured I would have a helluva time locating one. Well to my surprise 2 of the dealerships I've previously worked with had the S in stock (1 each). They both had the same story...both bikes are "technically reserved" but if I was ready to buy now to come on down.

Seems that if any of you guys who have these things on reserve snooze for just 2 minutes your wait will get pushed back even further (waiting on the next shipment). I guess one guy was still waiting to get his financing lined up and the other they were not able to reach..... moral of the story?... answer your phone and have your $ in hand

I agree with you Chuck ... supposedly!! there were suppose to be S and Tri models starting on April 23rd and they were suppose to get delivered weekly (which means every week) then after and the base models are suppose to start on the 14th and get delivered weekly ... but what it really means is if you are lucky enough to be near the front of the line, you get your meal ticket but if you are not, then you get a big "question mark" on your forehead and you are left in line wondering what is going on .... Im suppose to be in the front of the line for a base but Im sure that same story is told to every person that has a deposit on the base.

We'll see how things go this next week and week after ... hopefully I get mine ... but Im not one of those "I got mine, now get yours because I dont care" type of guys ... I ofcourse would enjoy my bike but still feel indifferent about how all of this is being handled because ultimately, if Ducati, DNA, and your prospective dealership treats you like dirt ... then when it comes time to have the bike serviced, or warranty issues, etc ... you're going to receive the same results ... I honor and cherish a few shop sales guys that have posted the truth on here ... we need more like you!!!!!

my dealer called me at 8pm last light,he has confirmation from Ducati that they have shipped the STD, 6 are coming, one of them is mine, he does not have exact date, but will keep me posted

Yep, I was told by my dealer the same: They've received allocation/ confirmation of 4 Standard's coming for this month ... but there was no exact date of shipment yet or arrival. So to me, I'll believe it once hands are on BIKE ... LOL

I sold 4 in 1 day 2 Tri 2 & 2 S ABS in Orlando Fl.. Also have 1 S NON ABS with the Exhaust for the racers out there I'll work a deal.....

i suspect i won't receive my "S" till june... being that im in Anchorage, Alaska. My dealer ordered 1 "S" and "1" Base. The other dealer in town ordered "1" S and "2" base.

I am guessing my dealer is low on the priority list for DNA....

There WILL be base/base ABS bikes delivered during the week of 5/14.

Don't really care for the give it a rest comment. I informed people on both forums since some aren't on both. I also read your comment on the other forum about Ducati taking its time to focus on build quality. You aren't in Italy, nor have you been, and that ISN'T why they were taking their time. I, for one, don't enjoy being used as a chedrule pawn for InvestIndustrial's financial gain.

2 out of 3 local dealers want to dump the Aprilia line. They say that Aprilia is even worse to deal with than Ducati. I can't imagine how bad that must be, but both looked like they were in pain as they said it, so I'd never buy an Aprilia.

maybe it will get better with audi on the button now...

concerning aprilia, even in germany, and that is really not far away from italy, everybody was complaining about the customer service (new bikes, spare parts, communication, delays) ...

i try to see it all from the spiritual standpoint right now:
- good exercise for patience, will be rewarded one day

I received my 1199S about a week ago. My dealer in Nashville TN has received two S models and thats it. There were a few guys who have deposits on the base and the dealer is telling them probably not till the end of next week at the earliest.
