More delays in the US??? Anyone taken delivery of S or Standard in the US

2 out of 3 local dealers want to dump the Aprilia line. They say that Aprilia is even worse to deal with than Ducati. I can't imagine how bad that must be, but both looked like they were in pain as they said it, so I'd never buy an Aprilia.

Heard just the same about the Apes. My Cat dealer carries the line and says they drive him up the wall!

I guess we'll all see if any base units hit the US this week ... good luck guys!! Even if I dont get mine, I hope we atleast see some base units reach the States!!! It's like the Mega Millions lotto all over again!! LOL good luck
 
still waiting on my "S" dealer says he received info that order is confirmed... what ever thats suppose to mean hope i get it buy June
 
its like needing to take a piss on a long road trip and you know your close to home.... so you dont stop and keep going figuring you'll be able to make it home.

by the time ur like 30 miles away the urge gets stronger and stronger, you reach your neighborhood and your driving like your Schumacher. :eek:

man I am going crazy big time!

at the presentation last month, i decided to go for the S, as i wanted it so badly, but tried to argue me to the base. well he told me he had an S coming in on May 2nd, so i talked to the wife, she agreed, and i've been waiting since... where the F""K is the bike? and there is no info.... so next week the base i initially ordered might come in and i might still be waiting until june.

on the other hand, during that time, i can get back to my workout, to fit back into my size 52 arlen ness kangaroo suit, where i am at least a 54 now...

and there was this spiritual patience thing...
 
so chuck do you have anything good to say about anything???

If you're so fundamentally negative about everything and don't want to be a chedrule, walk away from ducati, aprilia, bimota, honda, etc etc. ........ buy a scooter, then again I'm guessing you've got something bad to say about every scooter out there too.

I stand by my give it a rest comment sorry guy, but after so much complaining from one individual it all begins to sound like meaningless drone to me.

Don't really care for the give it a rest comment. I informed people on both forums since some aren't on both. I also read your comment on the other forum about Ducati taking its time to focus on build quality. You aren't in Italy, nor have you been, and that ISN'T why they were taking their time. I, for one, don't enjoy being used as a chedrule pawn for InvestIndustrial's financial gain.

Couldn't agree with you more Chris - never heard anything positive from Chuck on any of the forums and it gets old. InvestIndustrial this, Ducati that blah blah blah... I will say it too - Give it a rest
 
Getting excited...

I'm going under the knife this week, and won't be able to ride for a couple of weeks. Figures.:rolleyes:
 
Got the call just few minutes ago! My S ABS is coming.
It will be' ready this weekend ... I waited so long and I have to wait another week since I won't be in town for the next 10 days.

Anyone ready for a ride in the Ohio/indiana/Kentucky area?
 
Have had my S/ABS for a few weeks now. its an amazing piece of machinery, I hope the breaking goes well and it all checks out down the road ahead. I am loving it!!

Kool!! cant wait to get my hands on my Base no/ABS ... first thing will be to add carbon fiber parts, add my own (self-made) CF parts, and then repaint that baby all black or corse colors ...
