Martin was much further over and didn't get a penalty.
Martin isn’t penalized because another rider isn’t within striking distance (or ~0.5 s). I’d hate to be in the stewards shoes

Alberto Puig himself praised the work done by the men from Borgo Panigale, admitting how much Honda are lagging behind with respect to Ducati. His words were welcomed with satisfaction by Dall'Igna, who did not, however, wish to say too much about the moment being experienced by Marc Marquez and about a possible interest from Ducati in the eight-time world champion.
“Honestly, that can only make us feel proud. It was said by a sportsman who has worked in motorcycle racing for many years, which is even more pleasing - the engineer acknowledged, commenting on the Spaniard's words - It's never nice to see a great champion like Marquez suffer and risk so much. Honestly, he's not in the position he deserves."
Eh. It was the inevitable evolution of the sport. At some point you are at the physical limits of what can be done without it, at least in a series where everyone has to use the same tires. All this aero is making the show boring.
I don’t see how Yamaha haven’t fixed the lack of power. They’ve known about this for the last 5 years. Give Fabio more HPs!!!!

They've known about this since 2007. Valentino said, "well ok, at least make it turn better." And they went with that.
The Gigi is not amused.
MotoGP, Dall'Igna: "Honda's difficulties are not MotoGP ‘s responsibility"
MotoGP: “It's right to help teams in crisis, but it must be done fairly, because getting this far has required sacrifices from Ducati and this must be recognized. We have a spectacular championship, where the best must always prevail."www.gpone.com

Tell that to Suzukiyamaha is a outdated engine design they have painted themselves into a corner .
It's a bit premature to assume Honda and Yamaha can't build a fast bike. after what ? one year of Ducati Championship victories? this is insane.
When was the last time you cared about Suzuki?Tell that to Suzuki
