It's like the end of days here. It won't stop raining for weeks. Winds from Siberia, the high is 14C. Roads collapsing, landslides, subway in Bologna flooded. F1 race cancelled. Like that.
Maybe it'll break finally next week. The second the sun comes out it's magically 23C and perfect. Let's see, the GP is still a bit away.
I cancelled 2 track days this week because the last two I did were redflag fests. It was social hour instead of riding.

I got credit. There is rain insurance. They are trying everything to accommodate, but ya, I invested a bunch into May and it seems like late November.
They even started selling single sessions. One day I went out parked in the paddock and when it stopped raining long enough, we all went out "Open Pit Lane" style, as in, no time limits, just go ride at will. That was awesome. I'd do some laps, come in for 5 mins, drink some water, head out again. I got a lot of laps in but it was still pretty damp. No speed records.
Mugello dries pretty fast. They say Ferrari made a special tarmac here. I believe it. 30 min after rain with a little wind and it's pretty dry. Pretty dry though is not a thing you can push hard on.

Misano F1 race Cancelled.
June 2nd, we'll blink and it will go from 13C to 30C and sun. This is what it does now. It's so crazy.
Actually it looks like we'll get some sun next week.

We had half a years rain in one day, breaking all records since the mid 1800's and probably the worst summer anyone can remember. but 1500ks south they had no rain and the best one!

when MM was winning on the honda it was his amazing skill , now he is not winning in 600 days its the Honda rc213v because that bike is a turd . got it

Yes you got it, the Honda was developed for his style and it worked. Stiff, short wheelbase, very responsive, quick turning and hard to ride. None of his teammates or satellite riders could match his results. The world has changed, hes had years of injury recovery where he was simply unable to ride normally and the Europeans have embraced aero and ride height. At present Ducati is the dominant bike, nothing is close (in MotoGP terms) 1-2-3-4 in Mugello and 1 to 6 in the sprint? Basically anyone with GP level talent can get points on it. Look at Alex Marquez from Honda = nowhere to the front rows on the Ducati in his first year. The Ducati can turn, it can brake and its pretty much the fastest bike. The Honda is a dog in comparison, Rins put it on the top step at COTA but thats Rins's at his track, since then nothing. No one at Honda is doing any good, its mediocre at best or recovering from crashes!

If everyone was on Ducatis, MM would be winning but they are not and for the foreseeable future he will only snag the odd podium until either Honda matches Bologna or he gets a better offer.

Maybe, maybe not. MM has a choice setup style on the Honda, that as you wrote, none of the other riders could be fast on. Who's to say the Ducati would work for him. His brother, who likely had the same kind of experience growing up around motorcycles, if not slight better because of MM's success, chucked his Ducati into the gravel Sunday.

The magic formula seems to be GP22/23 and VR46 Academy.

So you accept that everything in the world of MotoGP has changed, with the notable exception of MM himself. To claim MM would be winning if he was on a Duke is a bold claim, he's older, 3 full years older and he's had to recover from a significant injury with his broken humorous bone and he also seems intent on giving himself permanent Diplopia. His reflexes aren't what they used to be and if he is so brilliant why then does he need a tow to get into Q2 at every round?
His desperation to prove he's still capable of winning looks like it's causing some strange decisions, his outright obnoxious attitude to his fellow competitors notwithstanding, stating publicly he was prepared to cause a red flag to save his Q2 position in LeMans.
The so called psychological edge the commentators seem to prattle on about is a joke, he openly ......... when things don't go his way and in the same breath he states proudly that he not only doesn't help his team mate he deliberately misdirects them, is it any wonder the Honda is a dog....
