Really? Then why does MM have to follow and shadow Pecco every weekend during the qualifying sessions? If he’s so great then why can’t he figure out his own line.
One of Ducati's three grey haired wise men addressed MM going to Ducati basically saying he's too old and would command too high of a salary and they aren't interested. As stated by someone earlier, #MM93 on a KTM or Desmo right now = championship.

He follows other riders to .... with their lines and times.
They'd be paying what, a $12+ million USD per year contract for an injury prone 30 year old who can't stop chucking bikes into gravel traps? He has a lot more experience than Bagnaia for sure. But, he misses a lot of races because of injury and doesn't finish a good number as well. They don't need MM, they have an army of cheaper 20 somethings with less injuries. Rossi's ranch is pumping out amazing talent. Marco is a rider to watch going forward for sure.Whether they consider it a worthwhile investment doesn’t automatically mean they don’t think he’d be faster than Bagnaia on the same bike - it means they think they can win while keeping him off a Ducati and while saving millions paying Bagnaia instead of Marquez.
And Marquez is competitive with Bagnaia (who’s on the best bike on the grid), while on a clearly inferior bike. The likelihood he’d be faster on the best bike is pretty good.

I'd also speculate that Ducati made an attempted to acquire MM years ago and were shot down, and now will take the Italian grudge to MM's grave and never sign him.

I don't think that's as big of a detractions as the anti-MM crowd thinks, if its even a thing.Diplopia, he can't find his braking markers without a reference......
Right up until he wipes out the grid in lap 3.Love or hate MM, MotoGP is more entertaining with him racing.
Hasn't bagnaia crashed out of 4 race's this year? I'm not getting into the rider bashing, i have too much respect for all of them, but you have to look at the facts, mir hardly ever crashed the Suzuki, in fact his consistency and lack of DNF helped him win a world championship, he is now crashing 3-4 times in a weekend, same as espargaro last year. So this tells me the honda isn't the best bike on the grid.
Would marc win on another bike? No way to know for sure unless he jumps but it would definitely make it more interesting
I would rather see Rins on a Duc than MM.

Rins won a race on a satellite Honda a few weeks ago…. The Honda is trash, but it is capable of winning races.
