Yesterday I purchased my first Ducati. It was a divorce gift to myself. I am amazed at how nimble it is. I have been riding and racing a Honda CBR 1000 since 2005. My 1199s feels like throwing a bicycle into corner in comparison. It is going to take time to get use to how easy it handles. I was a little concerned about the heat however, after reading the forum threads I'm not concerned. I live where there is no traffic so I'm fortunate. After the break in off to the track.

Use the "SEARCH" feature on anything you are curious about and you should get all the info you wanted, and more, from that - if its up and working right for ya! lol

No need to worry about the heat, the new heat shield does a much better job at protecting your thighs and nuts than the original. Enjoy your new purchase and enjoy not having a wife around.

Keep the marbles that you got back from the divorce relatively cool and away from harm as much as possible.
