Muratanio doing 1m37s around Oscherschleben on slicks. For perspective, IDM superbikes do 1m24-27s around it.

I’ve just looked at the new bike. It looks far better in the flesh, the seat is better, the tank is a big improvement, the screen looks awesome, zero slop in the throttle… Forged wheels are nice as well.
Very nice!
If you have slop in throttle in v4r fix it now while it's under warranty. Has zero in mine
its the same throttle as the 23 R
its the same throttle as the 23 R
Isn't previous v4s throttle identical to v4r?
I saw it for the first time at the wdw, one day before the official release. Nice bike but no more beatuful than older versions. IMHO this is forgivable since the Ducati's purpose is to make the bike handle better.
I think some of the funky look to the front end is due to the painted wings. If they were black or carbon fiber it would look better. I liked that look when I was playing with the render tool on Ducati’s site.
Winglets on a streetbike is totally Squid like. Reminds me of the kids with huge rear spoilers on a Honda Civic.
They should at least be removable.
These are bolt on and removable. Carbon replacements are optional. Pretty sure someone will make flush inserts at some point as well. Are the bolt-on like previous year models? Or is it molded as part of the fairing?

They work great as frame sliders... don't ask me how I know. Also, carbon fiber winglets are pricy!
The new R-1 is going to be an expensive crasher!
Why, what’d Yamaha do to it?
