It will be interesting what they do with the 2025 R. The >24 base and S models have the "road" swingarm where the R has more intricate Race design.

That dssa has gutted the panigale imo. I think it was the Audi group that may of pushed the design to align the inventory and parts system across the supersort and panigale platforms, like they did with the lamborghini urus and vw atlas. Will have to check those part numbers once it comes out to verify, either these 2025 base models have a race spec swingarm upgrade or the 2025 R will have something totally different

i guess that's the mindset that gets you to eight world championships

... bautista wanted no part of anything that could put him in the gravel

I'm not a Marc fan at all. He is one of the dirtiest riders around. Pecco is all class, in my opinion.

Pecco clearly has the wind in his sails right now. I hope he gets the championship.

also the bikes looked good. imo as good/better than the current generation (prefer the exhaust alignment). will be interesting to hear what the reviewers say when they get a chance to ride them

I thought it was the same swingarm?

The R should have stuff that puts it ahead of the rest of the range.

I’m just starting to watch the race now. Interesting that he was saying they have changed the brake discs and calipers and that these are available from the parts catalogue. Is that right?

The swingarm is the same on all 3 models however the attachment points on the R is completely different. It's a type of roller pin on the base/S but the R has a locking bracket setup

Looks great in yellow and the VR46 looks quite good as well.

I reckon the base model with loads of upgrades would be awesome, but you’re getting into some serious money by the time you’ve added everything you’d want.

Exhaust, DDL, forged wheels, dry clutch, front and rear suspension, rearsets, bodywork, slicks EVO DTC… Much change from 50,000 Euros?

It will be interesting to see what they do with the R and what that model comes with.

A big bill probably due in the not too distant future on my R… Might be worth looking into changing before I have to swallow the cost, but there is something special about the R.

It will be interesting to see the first rider reviews of the new bike.

Your comment seemed like you were saying the swingarm is different. I understand that the R is adjustable.

R will have same swingarm as base/S. Remember that this is just a cost cutting experiment so that the R stays under the price limit for homologated bikes

Pecco hasn't ridden a non-Ducati. He has been involved in development of V4 platform. Marc rides Ducati MotoGP 6 months, V4 probably 2nd day (yday was Practice and Qualitying).

Pecco is fast, but let's not forget Martin has been riding as good in a non factory team (well at least until mental pressure started to build up).

I sound like Marc's fan boy I guess

The only thing special about V4R is the 5000kms engine refresh invoice from a dealer.

I bet Bulega used up his tires pretty quick as he constantly does in long races in WSBK and lost grip when Marc attacked him.

There's 3 different configurations for the Panigale swingarm - base, adjustable R and the SL

This is the R setup

This is the SL carbon with non adjustable, the base is alloy/non adjustable

Going to a dssa across all 3 panigales will simplify the platforms/inventory. That same dssa might end up in the supersport, seems like the fairings were borrowed from it..I'm hoping we'll get some kind of swingarm upgrade that compliments the R rather than a cookie cutter dssa.

There's also that new water pump...🧐
