RedLine Under Tail Exhaust

I decided to take a chance on these guys also. My order number indicates that there aren't many of us that are making this leap of faith.

My credit card was billed immediately after placing the order on the website so, yeah.

I'm pretty sure there are some sort of restriction against charging prior to shipping. In Denmark it's a law.

In the US I'm not sure it's actually illegal but I'm pretty sure there are conditions that would have to be met for them to be able to do it. Something to the order of them needing to clearly state that it is considered a down payment or a deposit.

Look into it if you wish :)

According to the trusty internet, the Fair Credit Billing Act says that I should be covered if they don't ship within 60 days. However, I have no experience with this and it was literally the first thing that popped up on the web.

I sent them an email asking if they could wait to charge my card until they ship. I'll let you know what I get in response.

Please post up some pics of the system when you get it, both before and after fitting if you can.

The most they would have gotten from me is a couple hundred dollars in refundable deposit.

You're brave giving full payment to a totally un-known manufacturer with zero inventory, but I hope it works out!

This deviated quickly The guys at Redline are awesome and I’m proud to support their company. This isn’t a pipe bent to fit, it’s Gen 7 of the system they’ve been pulling podium finishes with. OP there are quite a few of us. I’m very appreciative of Redline for engineering this BMF for us so I can have what I wanted in the first place without spending another 6 grand.

I have a lot of closeups from them (not all final versions) and will have install pics followed by dyno video and results under Agents of Italia on IG soon.

They also have dB killers you can install and remove easily from the back of the cans I believe are no charge.

Pretty interesting, here in the US even Amazon charges your card imedialty before anything ships, even if it goes backorder.

Seriously! I fully understand where folks are coming from, but having experienced this attitude directed towards me with no good reason before; well it's just unfortunate [emoji23] After seeing the $5900.00 tag on the Akra, more excited than ever [emoji1308][emoji16][emoji1308][emoji482]

Yes I'm sure all is legit , but they wanted payment in full , then we will build it for you . I was looking at getting these , but no dyno figures/graph , small headers and I believe unequal headers. Still a very nice system. I went for STORM PERFORMANCE EXHAUST in the UK , I ordered the pipe , he sent updated photos of the build and asked for payment just prior to shipping . Still, supporting a smaller company to make a product is great.
Is that correct Ducati are only taking orders for the V4 with full payment in advance ? Sorry just .... stirring!

I agree with you NESBA. I honestly didn't think anything of the immediate charge until I read the comments here. They undoubtedly need the capital to support the raw materials purchases.

They have been very responsive with me and expect to be shipping in about two weeks. I will definitely check back in once I receive the parts with my review.

Totally understandable. I will be the first dyno figures and data made public, Faster Twin will be doing the tuning and Raffaele has an amazing reputation. The Panigale is tricky to tune, very few setups exist in the US to do it 100% properly. Apparently the computer fights back with aggression unless you have an intense airflow replication setup.

I came up around Traxxion Dynamics, Graves selling bits trackside themselves... Penske using us as testers and such... So the r&d Racing and just the whole deal, is awesomely reminiscent of the good old days.

The pics get difficult because many are of first versions. The 7th iteration header sizes and length are spot on. And the bike is running almost 20 degrees cooler on average in a race environment.

Any which way I will have parameters and results on film for everyone ASAP. I can only hope Akrapovic provides such information and test results for everyone. I'd like to see how theirs actually runs.

We also got $700 off our systems in exchange for pre-ordering. That's kind of an informal agreement imho. They actually apologized for being in Daytona Racing and unable to process my charge for an extra week.

I'm a paranoid sob with any reason to be, I'm just excited to hear her, no worries here [emoji16]

PS: I'm not sure about the deposit deal on the V4, but I did read some folks still haven't gotten their FE's yet. That's gotta hurt, almost 3K on mine and innumerable adventures [emoji16]

Right! This is exactly correct, just that businesses don't care generally. The issue as pertains to Redline I assumed it was the reason for the hefty price reduction. Just excited [emoji16][emoji482]

I got charged within hours for an agv pista gpr and i waited almost 4 months for the damn helmet. I actually called my CC provider to see if i was covered just in case they closed down and they said i was good for more than a couple months as long as i had proof they were stalling me. Cant wait to see this exhaust
